Quick tip for nade buying: On CT or T side, buying 2 flashes, 1 smoke, and 1 HE grenade costs 1000 dollars. On T side, buying 1 flash, 1 smoke, 1 HE, and 1 molotov costs 1200 dollars. On CT side, buying the same would cost 1400 dollars (incendiaries cost 200 more on CT side). Just in case you wanted to know how much it costs to fully buy utility.

Buying helmets on ct side makes sense, if your armor gets damaged while not having a helmet you have to rebuy your whole 1000 dollar armor on anti eco rounds, so if you want an m4 and a full kit that is 4100, if you have between 3750 and 4100, then you buy an m4, armor without helmet, and with the remaining money you buy a flash, a smoke or a nade, if you have 4100 then you buy full kit, and the rest goes towards nades/def kit. it makes more sense economically and if you survive with full set, you can't get one shot by glocks, or smgs next round when the Ts eco/force buy. But it really depends on the situation, if the Ts like to force buy a lot after loosing economy then the helmet is essential.

Smgs are really underrated. The ump45 and pp bizon are really good. All of the smgs are good options instead of an ak or an m4a1.

I honestly think that the best way valve could fix this is to increase the countdown time before a round starts. You have 15 seconds to call positions/strats, look over team economy, agree on whether to eco or buy and co-ordinate with 5 people how to spend money including drops etc. I know it would slow the game down but I think it's better than having a mad sprint to buy whatever you can.

All you have to do is look at the team's cash, compare it to one number (3750 at the time he made it, 3650 now, for CT, and 3700 for T), literally if everyone has more than 3700 it's a buy round. If anyone has less, and nobody has 3000 extra, you call eco. It's that easy. The buying is all down to muscle memory. If you add 5 seconds to each timeout, you're adding the time equivalent of a whole extra round to a long game that already has a huge time investment. Just learn to buy quickly. You get an extra long pause at the start of each side, that's where you call positions.

Well, Liquid, it is not "superior" (actually, there are many more beautiful languages), but it is looked upon as the no.1 language for international communication these days. So, while no one is expecting people to be fluent in it, at least calls should be made in English for everyone to be able to pick up. Since most locations are named in English anyway, even people who haven't perfected their English skills should be able to learn those. There is nothing ruder in PUG matches than having some of your random teammates frequently communicate with each other in their native language and lock everyone else out.
