I'd squeeze Twisters onto the list.... I remember hearing about and shaking my head, but the final product was solid. I'm not sure if it's considered a sequel or reboot, but visually and story wise it's very entertainingly.

The Ring: A movie with deadly VHS tape that kills you? Sounded stupid. Pirates of the Caribbean: A movie about a Disneyland ride? The Lego Movie: Sounded like a soulless commercial. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Another Jumanji without Robin Williams? Paddington: Another CGI animal in real life movie? Wasn't Garfield enough? I even thought Heath Ledger as the Joker was going to be awful. The Knights Tale guy? I love it when I'm wrong.

Spot on! I was amazed just how much I enjoyed it. They managed to capture thr magic of the original TV series. I was initially put off by the choice of choice actors for both prime and megs.. But that only lasted about 15 min and it was all thumbs up from there. So much so, in fact, that I intended to see it again in the theater (but never got around to it).

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice wasn't great at all. Just OK. Yes, it retained the lovely charm from the first film, but tried to throw in FAR TOO MANY plot threads. I mean, I forgot Monica Belluci was even in the movie after 20 minutes. Then there's the kid that wants to take Astrid's soul and he's "defeated" without fanfare. Beetlejuice 2 was fun, no doubt. But I don't feel it "worked".

Burton has been coasting for years. To be honest, I've never been a big fan of his faux horror style. His Batman movies were okay. The only two I honestly liked are Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow.

Land of bad was one of those movies I came aross on Netflix when I had nothing to do. it looked interesting but, was actually solid I would have added Rebel Ridge to this list as well. Axel F and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice I really hoped would be good then I saw the trailers and very pleased that looked worthy of the originals. then I watched them and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan and I thought The 4:30 Movie was rubbish. Trying too hard for sentimentality but falling flat on laughs and heart. It's a film aimed at teens that's filled with references you have to be 50ish to understand. It's terribly misjudged in every way. I'm not sure how you think this movie, which grossed only slightly over $2000 worldwide, is good?????

The only movie I've seen on this list is Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and I was a little disappointed in it it wasn't as good as the first one Michael Keaton gives a great performance in the movies and uneven in some areas

I'd totally trade Beetlejuice 2 out for Twisters. Beetlejuice to was kinda awful. There's WAY too much going on that was just uninteresting. And they completely wasted Bellucci as a villain. And the extremely weird animated scenes for the father dying. And him being a headless ghost in the afterlife. They could have just made him dead and that was it. Twisters was at least a really decent movie.

One bone (through the nose) to pick... I actually expected.. or at least hoped Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice to be good. But oh boy was I wrong it was an absolute deuce 💩 of a film. The aforementioned dumpster fire... on steroids. It wasn't even good enough to be bad. I honestly forced myself to see it through to the end.... and was mad at myself for doing so. Absolute miss on this call.
