Interesting, perhaps a reference to Pickett's charge. I personally thought it was a broader reference to the strategies of Ulysses S. Grant (though a Union General, and not Confederate as Lemoyne is said to have been) and Lincoln. Lincoln continually ordered his Generals to use their vastly superior man and industrial power to just send huge numbers of men into the slaughter zone of battles and just overwhelm the Confederate armies. Lincoln fired 6 generals in the first 2 years of the war because each one valued the lives of their men and refused. Finally, Lincoln found Grant who was willing to endure casualty rates that were double the Confederate's, but much less costly because the Union outnumbered the CSA armies 6 to 1. Kinda betrays that Lincoln was not so much the man of the people history has portrayed him as.

I think I may have noticed some new/semi hidden content in rdr2 and I want to pass the knowledge on to you if you’re interested and don’t already know about this. Basically I found out that if you’re playing with your bow equipped and melee an enemy using the first person camera your character will sometimes grab an arrow with their hand and stab it through said enemies neck killing them instantly. I don’t know if this also works or has an animation in 3rd person as I exclusively play in first person mode. But from what I’ve gathered watching online videos and the various times the game has forced me into playing 3rd person there appear to be some pretty huge differences in how your character behaves or acts between the different playing styles. What I will say is a have 100% completion (legend of the west platinum trophy) and hundreds of hours logged playing online and have never seen or at least noticed this takedown animation until today. Spoiler Warning Ahead * 2022 Halloween online story content* *ike skelding* I was playing the Ike Skelding Telegeam contract mission number 2 “Strong Medicine” about halfway through you are tasked with stealthily taking out 4 enemies holding up in a bar in Blackwater. As I enter the bar, bow now equipped, I take out the Bartender first with a silent headshot then quickly take out the enemy siting at a table with his back turned to me before he notices. The last 2 enemies are upstairs so I quietly crouch my way over to them. The first enemy is standing in the middle hall with his back to me and the second one is sleeping on a couch in the corner. I line up a head shot and take it but of course because of lag, magic, rockstar shenanigans, hidden forces in the universe the arrow sticks in the back of head but doesn’t kill him. This seems to happen maybe 1 out of 10-15 times when playing online so I am usually ready for it and have throwing knives or hatchets set as my quick select weapon but because I just started playing failed to set it up. Now I have 2 enemies rushing at me, one with an arrow clearly stick out of his forehead and I fumble a follow up shot. I start quickly backing up and manage to take down one enemy with a moving headshot from my bow but the couch guy grabs me. I break free and miss a shot on him because the distance is just to close so I hit circle (ps4) instead hoping to punch him back and stunning him long enough to switch to my knife. To my complete surprise my character instead grabs an arrow holds it like a screwdriver and drives is sideways through the enemies neck instantly taking home down. I just sat there shocked for several minutes as I never knew this could happen. I then thought of the videos you making pointing out little hidden/not so obvious details within the game and though you might like to know about it. Anyways sorry if this is long winded I just wanted to make sure you had all the information in case this is just some fluke of the game during that mission. It’s not often you melee someone with a bow after all. I don’t see why John or Arthur couldn’t do the move as well but further testing is needed. I hope you see this if not no worries maybe someone else will and try it for themselves. -Adriana

Ps I just wanted to say that I noticed you seemed a bit frustrated in the intro/spoiler warning for your video and that I know what it’s like to work really hard on something and not fell appreciated. I know that it can seem like your growth is moving at a snails pace and hearing the same negative feedback over and over again has to work it’s way down into the core of a person. Just please remember there are people who care about you, love you or support you if not all three so keep it up. You deserve to take time for yourself, don’t let the troll get to you don’t feed them. Cheers. -Adriana

The structure across the tracks in #2 looks like an avalanche shed or snow shed. They are made to protect the rail road tracks from avalanches. These days the are often made of concrete.

The effort that was put into this gameee 😩. LOVE IT. I didn’t even know about half of these and I play way to much. Thank you! 👏🏽

I've played through the story 5 times and i just now found the face in the rock. I knew it existed, but I didn't know where it was and I wanted to find it myself. This game is such a masterpiece.

Several play throughs and I watched MANY secrets, walk through, etc videos, and I NEVER saw the serpent mound till now!

Its part of a treasure hunt, IDK how anyone has missed it tbh.
@danieldonato32692 жыл бұрын
@@matt_queso I thought the same, but it is a side quest to get the map. Like the trophy system on PS4/5. I've gotten very common or plain trophies for not doing anything spectacular or whatever, only to see that .03% of players have earned during the story mode.

At Bolger Glade I got some writing in my journal after killing a large group of bounty hunters there. Don't remember what it said exactly but it was depressing as hell

The Battle of Scarlett Meadows sounds like a reference to the Antietam Battlefield with yelling at night.

The phonograph is spooky when you realize that it's not like it repeats...it has to be reset when the record is done, so if it's still playing with no one around, and keeps playing and playing...

Nearby the secret number 8 i've found also a dead bison and even a rotten corpse with a bite mark on their neck. Not sure if they are related to the secret but they are interesting finds to say the least

Found a secret interaction you might like. I noted down the fossilized remains from chapter 2 of your video, then instantly set up camp, it took me a little south (night time) where a woman asked if she could warm herself by the fire, I accepted and she told me she was from Butcher's Creek but got turned around, she talked about the goings on there a little. She was feral looking, and after a short conversation said she didn't like the look of Arthur and ran away.

I noticed on a recent play-through. The cabin by moonstone pond, the one that the tree crashed down on, put your back to it and face moonstone pond, look up and you can see the sculpture in the mountain. It is my theory that the cabin once belonged to the sculptor. It’s not a very far walk or ride from the cabin to the scaffold .

One thing I really hoped to see but we don't is that cars were invented in like 1870s-80s and since rdr2 is set between 1899-1907,they could have added a few,or since cars in that year was still pretty rare and for rich,Rockstar could have mare it an Easter egg to find and draw in our journal,or maybe one to drive,but only by spawning it with a cheat code. Unfortunately, we have NOTHING but yeah it's ok😕 or a ever monster,idk so much potential. Like the lochness,or if we had the option to swim UNDER the water but we can't

2:58 I think that structure is meant for protection from avalanches. If an avalanche hits, it will go over the structure instead of covering the tracks or destroying a train that was passing through.
