Great Tips. Not sure about #5 for new sellers. [ I was Broke} when I first started, I grew my store by sourcing $1 hats and ties. buy a hat/cap or tie for $1 and sell it for $10 to $15 was great. I still sell like 3-4 hats a week ;=]

Right on! Turning $1 into $10-15 is nice bread and butter! But turning $1 into $5 where after fees you make $3 isn’t really worth our time (though we did just that in the beginning because we thought that was great lol!) 🤭

Thank you very much for advising us on the mistakes to avoid making while reselling. The key as you stated is to do your research and use the items/apps that are available for you to compare what is selling versus what is not. Not a new reseller by any means, but number 10 definitely hit for me. Not the shipping part, because I make sure to ship out my items in a timely fashion, if not that same day. But I need to make this my actual business and stop being lazy. I know how to source, my profit margins are great, I’m just super lazy and need to get out of this funk. I wrote some “financial” goals for myself this upcoming year (I’m 30 and I’ve never done that before) time to take my life more seriously into 2025 and beyond.

One thing for me is I like watching resellers who are transparent on how long it takes to sell something. I'm a reseller that doesn't wait to wait close to a year or more on items - except maybe some very select niche pieces. But I'm in it to make some quick sales and not sit on things (my cost of goods is very low and I'd rather just get new items).

I have to say my number one feedback is that the items arrived great but the shipping was even better, I do one day shipping but if it is paid for on a morning I ship the same day getting ahead of so many flippers just because I go to my mail store at noon or even 2pm and so it'sinI fedex or ups or the post offices hands a day early and so arrives a day early and the buyers love that.
