I hooked mine up tonight. It sounds decent. For the size and money it’s good but if you want serious base you gotta go bigger. What I like about it is it makes the music sound a lot better without having that annoying vibration from the trunk and plates. You can’t really hear the base from outside so you can turn it up anywhere without looking like one of those dumbasses blasting their radio while they pump gas.

Yeah I just put one in my 2005 ranger. Sounds good inside. But it’s missing something. Maybe I need to take the bass out the head and try adjusting the knobs on the sub. Idk.

Hopefully you see my comment, I am wondering what you did in the rain? We are mounting mine in the same spot but I’m afraid if it’s raining and we have to put something in the back that it’s going to get wet. Any suggestions?

The wireing shouldnt effect the audio entirely. They say for 600w because the cables cam only take so much flow of power before heating up amd melting and starting a fire. The thicker the wire the more power it can sustain

Yeah, you’re correct. I upped the gauge and it sounds exactly the same.

@@stylze5767 I just posted an update on it.. Do not buy it. Best to purchase a single 10” sub and Amplifier than this. The bass just misses. So many songs I know where the Bass is and it’s absolutely nothing there. Very disappointed.

@@BobbyJOnline i already picked it up. For me its a big ugrade but eventually ill build a custom underseat sub box that itll move way more air and sound better overall

I just installed this and I’m not to impressed but I didn’t install the bass knob, I’m wondering if it even makes a difference before I spend more time running wires? Thanks
@tarikmemphistn66352 жыл бұрын
I may be too late but yes the bass knob will let you adjust the bass.. So you'll get a little more out of it when you plug it in and turn it all the way up.

Hey man 👋. How did you mount the sub to the tailgate? I have a TJ and it takes up 50% of trunk space lol.
@diywithbobby80953 жыл бұрын
It comes with 4 mounting brackets. I had to hold it up and pre drill 4 holes into the gate. It also comes with the screws for mounting as well. It was really easy. I’ve since removed it but you cant tell the holes are there. I do have an update video on here as well.

What did the other end of the blue remote wire coming from the sub get connected to? I get the red power cable goes to the battery and the ground goes straight to the metal chassis but I don't see where the blue remote wire goes?

Remote wire turns it on when the vehicle is turned on. If not, it’d be on all the time and drain your battery.

First of all....amp wont fit under seat. So that is hack. Any sub in the gate is an awful idea. Rattle to the max. And that sub is crap. Put a Kicker Hideaway in the back cargo compartment. Problem solved.

It fit under the seat perfectly.. Just wasn’t a way to anchor it down. Sub on the gate was fine, just the sub itself is weak.
