A+ on waxing the cuff to dampen the squeek. Just copped new boots after years of being dormant, and the squeek was driving me NUTS. Worked better than I expected. Props man 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽I’m virtually squeekless.

Deodorant is by far the ultimate wax!! Ever get mad at a skateboarder, just put deodorant on every grind-able thing in the park!! hahaha jk, about sabotaging skateboarders not the deodorant part lol

I think having a skate bag is the best hack anyone could have. It’s like a physical reminder of what a person needs to the bring to any session. I also throw in a small first aid kit. As for spare wheel...I kinda carry a full spare set cus I hate having 1 wheel looking differently

Yeah have at least bandaids in there haha. I hate having odd wheels too but i usually use it to get me thru the day before replacing them all. Save space. Thanks for the tips 💪🏻

The moment you said make a skate bag I thought, why haven't I done that? I immediately took an old bookbag and put wax, some allen keys, extra frames, and extra wheels in it. I normally just use the same super size bookbag for everything

From what I've heard r.e. the freezing thing, it doesn't work long term. In the short term it works, I guess something to do with it being so cold the smell seems to be neutralised. BUT as soon as you've worn them for a little while and they're up to temperature the smell comes back. It's an old wives tale, that apparently some people do with jeans. Cuz they don't want to damage them by washing them they just freeze them. I dread to think of how unhygienic that is in the long term... 😬

Rubbing alcohol for the feet and fresh socks. It's an army hack I came across while researching how to stop boots smelling. I work 12h shifts and have to wear steelcaps for safety, needless to say, by the time I get home it smells like something died. Doesn't solve it entirely but really helps, reckon if you spray your feet every couple of hours and change your socks you should be golden. Also it helps thicken the skin so you're less likely to get blisters.

Thanks for the hacks. I've heard that tea bag will get the smell out. Also believe it or not charcoal kills odors. So if you put a few pieces of coals in a zip lock bag with tiny holes in it that might work. I haven't tried these methods but I heard they work.

Try using WD-40 or castrol motor oil for the squeeking boots it’ll silence it completely, speeking from experience

Kia Ora! That's dope! Welcome to blading. If you skate flat (8 wheels total) yes, you'll need 2 boxes. I hope this helps

They work great for aggressive. You shouldn't be able to break them.
