Jeremy Cumberledge. He tested me in the first year or two but I never backed down. After that he knew his role in out family. He was shown great love and respect and in return showed us the same. Every time we had a shower and put on clean clothes he would rub against us to re-scent us. We were his clan💖

Jeremy Cumberledge. He was male. He was alpha male in our home because I was a single Mom. I was alpha female but he learned that I was his alpha. We live in the heart of the Rocky mountains so we are surrounded by hunters who were very generous and supplied us with meat, bones and antlers. He was 218 lbs when he passed and stood about 3 ft 8 inches to the top of his head on all fours. Tip of his nose to tip of his tail was over 6 & half feet. He was amazing. He loved playing with our cat

@@r.stuart5280 thats def not true. You give your cat attention and treat it like a family member they want to be around you. If you ignore a cat or only give it attention when you feel like it that bond isnt as strong....shit my cats always want to be around me..there up my ass. Follow me everywhere, they sleep with me every single night one sleeps on my head the other up against one side and my dog on the other. My male cat if it wasnt for him I might not even be here today. I fell asleep in the basement on the couch my cats of course down there with me...our stairs you havr to get up to see up the stairs cuz where its located and cuz each side is covered with a wall. Well my male jumped on me right on my chest hard and meowed directly in my face. right when I sat up he got down in between my legs then crouched to the ground while walking towards the stairs when he got to the end of the stairs his fur completely sticking up making him look massive and his tail was smacking the floor so hard in every direction then my female came and darted over to the stairs did the same thing only she started growling. I knew something had to be there. I got up turned the light on and a naked man was at the top 3 steps down just standing there I fr3aked and he ran out. To this day Idk who he was but after that I got a deadbolt for the door...idk what would of happened if it werent for them. Idk how my dog didn't wake up she was like dead to the world when this was happening cuz if theres someone she dont know she barks like crazy. My dog I feel just loves me for my food although I love her as much as my cats but my cats like food but its not always on there mind like it is with my dog. Thats why I love cats...i feel its genuine its not about getting anything. They want to be around me food or not. My dog wants to be around me too but shit she's already bitten me and growled when id give her food and just tried to move it to a different area that happened way more then once. My cats never ever got ugly with me and I could touch there food all I want they wouldn't do aanything. With my dog I cant even touch it even though I'm the one who gave it to her! Idk if she thinks I'm trying to steal it back and eat it cuz that's how she acts and this dog is not starving either if anything shes getting a gut I need to give her less wet food. All my pets have dry food and water out all day but wet food I give them 2 times a day but hers needs to start being portioned better cuz shes getting greedy and chunky. Plus she gets more treats then my cats cuz how she whines which is done. Done giving into her begging. My cats try smelling her wet food just to see what it is. They never once ate it or tried too cuz when she isnt around they smell it and walk away but if she sees it she will snap at them and growl. She never bites them but gives a half ass air bite towards them as a warning. Otherwisr they get along great and play but when it comes to my dog and food she don't care who or what you are she will be ugly about it and I cant understand it.

Honestly snakes make amazing pets despite the fear they bring. Their is always a little risk in every snake you get, I myself have been chocked too many times to count by my small non venomous snakes when they play around my shoulders and wrap around my neck. They are rather fun and feel fascinating when they squeeze and slide along your arms and so. Feeding is always a scare, no matter what snake you have. They’re normally very jumpy and fast during a feeding session and while almost definetly catch you off guard when they lung for the food. They also aren’t very active and you mostly will only seem them a few times a week as most snakes prefer to laze around in enclosed spaces like logs and shouldn’t be harassed or played with daily, they will bite you if they feel uncomfortable no matter the history you have with the snake. Definitely not very clingy animals. Out of my 18 snakes, only 3 are clingy too me and have never bitten me so always expect to be bitten when you play with a snake. Not that the bite hurts, when you own a snake it must be anti-venomous as it’s expected to get bit alot during the first half year of owning it. Also, depending on the size/age of your snake and what you’re feeding it, whether it be ‘pinkies’ (pink mice fetus’) or full grown mice, you must store them in a cold area like your fridge so they don’t go off. This has led to my freezer being packed to the brim with dead mice carcasses and i can tell you it’s not a pretty sight for visitors, or smell.. Also snakes tend to get familiarised with one certain person which is the person who takes care of them the most. It’s wise to get that person the snake prefers to feed them, take them out and so to make the snake feel more comfortable and have less casualties.. Snakes can get anxious when an unfamiliar face opens their incloser or tries to touch them! Theres always the downs to a snake as a pet but from my person experiences they’re adorable, loving and not too hard to take care of

It depends on which species, though. Any person slightly familiar with herps can tell you an African Rock Python is definitely not a snake you want to mess with, since they are extremely aggressive. I had a friend who had snakes of his own and helped a pet shop take care of theirs. One of his snakes happened to be an African Rock Python, and it would attack every chance it got. Ball pythons are usually pretty easy to handle. People should also be wary of snakes when they shed, and they can get a little testy at those times. When it comes to constrictors, too many people get comfortable letting them around their neck. I've done it, too, but I watch them very closely if around my neck.

I was raised with an Artic tundra wolf [basically a pure white wolf] until I was 17 when he passed away from old age. For the last year, my family has gotten a new wolf pup and things are back to normal, as for a whole year we didn't have a wolf in our lives. It was a good thing when we found our new pup or his future may have been very different as the people who had him only wanted him to be a stud [FYI: Our pup wasn't even 5 weeks old and the people were trying to keep in touch as well try to change of our minds about not fixing him, we stood our ground and got him fixed as he wouldn't have lived a long healthy life if we didn't]. He's going to be two years old in August and him despite being almost the size of a Great Dane or miniature horse, he thinks that he's still a little tiny thing so he uses us as his personal pillows/chairs.

There was a old man who used to like in a house near me and he had a pet tiger. This tiger had been separated from his parents at birth and put in a circus . He had no survival instincts and was playful towards humans. When the circus closed the tiger was going to be but down even though it was still rather young. Zoos tired to put him in an enclosure to see if he could go back to the wild but it failed and the tiger got hurt. This man said that it would be cruel to kill this majestic creature and took the tiger in. The tiger liver in a huge tree house the man made for it and roamed around the huge garden he had. Nobody minded as they knew it wouldn't hurt them and it would rather act more like a cat. The tiger lived for another 30 years having a happy life.

Anyone else in physical pain at hearing him mispronounce Gila monster or is it just me. Also, this is extremely biased as all animals can be dangerous. While some of these are more dangerous than others, wolves are not mean and only attack when threatened or their pups are nearby and they don't know you. Even then, they're more likely to try and scare you away or run themselves. Also, make sure that the animal named is matched by a picture of the actual animal themselves. You miss used a lot of pictures as they weren't the animal you actually mentioned.

And I wasn’t even talking to him or nothin he was just off to the side tryin to catch fish like everybody and when I was showing some friends on the other side of me the fish I just caught, I don’t remember exactly how he got a hold of the fish in the first place he might’ve wanted to see the fish too, and I guess I let him hold and then he just tossed it back into the water... One of the teachers found out what happened he got relocated to the other side of boat. This might’ve been not for school but for summer camp or daycare I can’t remember.

The owner of the snake lived upstairs and his snake escaped from the enclosure it was being kept in. If I remember correctly, the boy (who lived downstairs) was having a sleep over. The snake went through the ventilation. Somehow the snake fell from the vent system and landed where the boys were. I believe they were found the next morning :'(. Still heartbroken for those families involved. It was just a really unfortunate series of events, so awful.

My mother had a wolf-dog named Kaiya when i was young(my oldest memories), best guardian a boy could have. she would nip my heels and butt if i wandered to far from home, or got out of bed to meddle in the night. I'm aware that people are going to say that my mother was irresponsible for leaving me with a wolf, she was, but i'm lucky to have had her. she protected us from my stepfather many times. he was beating my mother, brother and I one day and she attacked him, that finally made him leave for good. He drove by one day afterwards and shot her while we were in the yard, I've never hated anyone in my life except him. so as for me, I will always take in wolf-dogs when they need a home.

Everyone's a critic but I received the information and I truly appreciate it. I went abroad by a friends house and saw a pet snake and packed my sh*t and got a motel. I just believe that some things should be logical to the human mind and some things can be admired from a distance. R.I.P to the owners who lost theirs lives. I truly believe they had a personality that saw the beauty in everything and pushed themselves to believe that the animals are not so bad. They perhaps believe they are saving the animals(by taking them from their homes) like stealing a baby at the hospital and saying your gonna make them happier. But to each his own. Well... I won't try to find out my curiosity is always in check. Something's should be left alone. Best of luck to those who risk it. I truly hope they won't meet the same fate.

She loved being inside...HATED MY IN LAWS lol... She had to be put in a bedroom when they were coming around she would attack them. Needless to say they were very scared of her... she destroyed my bedroom door 3 different times..yes replaced them 3 times...lol ..it was a great fun to me and worth the new doors... I didn't like my sister in law....she stayed with us for about 5 years...then she decided to go back to the woods ( I would see her & she would come say hello everytime ( show up when I was trail riding on my horse ) our farm animals was use to her no issues..I would see her kittens every now & again... But truly she stayed feral such a grand old dam... I love her think of her often and miss her so much...

I've been living with a wolf pack for over 30 years. I farm, raising livestock. The originals showed up and insisted they were going to work on my farm. I said no. They said yes. They proved themselves and got the job. They're extremely protective of their livestock, highly communicative, extremely good at herding and literally eat predators. Six generations have lived on our farm. Along the way a smidge of German Shepherd and Wolf Hound have bred into the line so they're now about 87% wolf. Recently I read an article that talked about how wild wolves are natural ranchers, selecting out the weak to eat and protecting their herds and the young stock from other predators. That makes a lot of sense based on what I've observed of the decades. Smallest (female) about 65 lbs, average is about 100 lbs and the largest was 182 lbs and 7' in length nose tip to tail tip. I've seen them jump 8' fences and vault 9' fences as well as jumping down off the roofs of buildings that are 12' at the eve. Very intelligent. We have an extensive 'pidgin' language we communicate back and forth with that is a mix of English, ASL and their language. Nothing deep or philosophical, just talking about farm things, predators, livestock, etc. See: SugarMtnFarm.com/dogs

I had a husky mix as a kid. He was a loving dog but like you said he wouldn't guard anything. If he ever got loose, he would get curious & just wander off. He would visit people all over the neighborhood. Once he didn't come back for mouths. The last time he got away, he wandered really far as we found him at an animal shelter several towns away as the dog catcher got him. As soon as he saw us, the keepers there said it was the 1st time they saw him excited. I'm glad we found him as the people there said they where thinking of putting him down as he was to old to put up for adoption if they couldn't find the owners. He lived to be 18 years old before he died of natural causes. I was 19 at the time & he was a brother to me. I took it really hard & I still miss him a lot.
