What I feel is the worst part is how slow the monster is. You can outrun it for as long as you want with somewhat relative ease, but if you're constantly being chased at an agonising pace by a being who will kill you in a terrible way if it does manage to catch you is not a life worth living in my opinion.

It Follows is a bad situation but if you’re rich enough u can somewhat get around it. The Entity moves at average walking speed which is 5.1 km/h, if you buy a house in Perth Australia and one in Toronto Canada those two cities are roughly opposite sides of the globe at 18,153 km apart give or take some for where exactly you live. At average walking speed it would take the entity 148.3 days to walk from one city to the other and that’s assuming its speed isn’t impeded by terrain like mountains and oceans or underwater trenches. If that’s the case you basically just need to wait until about a day or two before its due to be on top of you and then fly to the other city. It’ll be stuck in an almost infinite back and forth until you’re old enough to just be like “Fuck it I’m ready to die” and either end it yourself or let it have u

Moon one remind of the video game "Oxygen not included" where in the future they invent portals so they can send people into meteorites to mine them. But to avoid loss of life they sending in clones instead. The clones seems to be clueless that they're clones and they working happily. The game itself is pretty brutal in difficulty so when they die (mostly due to lack of oxygen) we happily send another clone. The moral question is even with clones having conscience of their own but do they still considered disposable?

You need to actively keep doing it. Like, you legit needs to spend your entire life to become as bad as palpatine, and get thousands of years using dark side to become like darth sidious. And the dark side influences you quite a bit but it does not control you, so you’re murdering a lot of people yourself

“Repeat” was a very scary movie but technically the main character is dead. It is a German horror movie that used to be on Amazon Prime. Basically a man loses his memories and has to live the same day over and over again like Groundhog Day. The only he gains his memories back is to face the different deaths from that day. Everyday he experiences the death of someone who died that day in order from first to last. Spoiler Alert: His death is the last death of the day. At first the deaths are simple old people deaths, then heart attacks, diseases, cancer, then victims of crimes, and then suicides. They are deaths that add up to 250,000 deaths in total. Then the real fears begin and you realize the main character some how caused the Nuclear Apocalypse. Over 10 billion people killed by nuclear fire. When he shoots himself in the head, he is giving a question. Repeat or forget? If he repeats he forgets everything and has to experience all those deaths again or forget and he gets to move on. He keeps choosing repeat because he doesn’t want to move on because he believes he is going to Hell. The thing is there are parts of the movie where you think the movie takes place in a computer simulation. There other parts where you think he is already in hell. There are a few parts where it looks like he is captured by Aliens or Advanced machines, or government Agents or my personal favorite men it power Armor that reminds me of the Fallout series. The movie is also 3 hours long.

it is not though. Triangle main difference is main character being fully aware in the beginning of her (and all of the crew) faith. But then she falls asleep and decides it was all but a dream. In "reality" it is a constant loop just because she was a bad person and now is in purgatory. Endless is on the other hand deals with a much more complex story (considering some outwordly entity is a real deal). It deals with lots of different loops and they don't care if you are good or bad person. You were just unlucky to get in it and too afraid so you chose to be stuck in it for eternity rather than die once and for all.

I have watched event horizon 29 times and I was so excited to hear it mentioned here. Genuinely the fate that Miller suffers could be worse than death. It all depends on whether or not he died before it happened. But I’m not sure if that would matter as the ship was theoretically able to bring back doctor weir after he was dead,or that possibly could’ve just been the ship taking his form. Also the fact that the ship has seem to infect its surviving members is pretty messed up to, as they’ll probably be suffering from delusions and stuff like that for a long time to come. Because they physically come in contact with hell but like he said hell is only a word, reality is much much worse.

I love that film man. Its one of my favourite sci-fi horrors of all time along with higher budget giants like Alien 1 & 2 and The Thing. The unreleased full version of the movie apparently had long scenes of "the movies version of hell" too, and you can see screenshots of some of it EG on Google, but I'm wondering if the movie might've been too disturbing if they didn't cut out the tortures of intergalactic hell. I'm surprised the most horrifying Sci-Fi Horror fate is not on the list: Immortality People tend to think immortality is a good thing, but only because humans can't really wrap their minds around the concept of infinity. Imagine outliving anybody you know and love. Watching all of your loved ones and kids die any time you try and bond with a mortal. Imagine getting to see humanity rise to an interplanetary/galactic civilization (assuming all goes well), only to see every living being die once the last star has burnt it's fuel. Imagine floating in empty space - unable to breathe, yet unable to die - when all that is left of the entire universe is just a bunch of black holes eating eachother. Imagine still being around after the last black hole transformed all of it's mass into hawking radiation and the universe is entirely empty. Imagine being in a state, where the concept of time has no meaning anymore, because there IS nothing left that could change for all of eternity... nothing but yourself.

@@nikkijames4845 I have nothing but respect for you sis. And yes it IS really hell. I even have to deal with mood swings here and than. One moment I feel great, the other I could cry for no reason. But I don't want to let this illness win. I will keep on fighting it until I am old enough to leave this world in dignity.

I gotta mention Warlock the Armageddon when the guy with the gem made the bet and had to stay in that mirror dimension hell forever

I’m surprised the movie Get Out by Jordan Peele wasn’t on this list. What’s worse than living in the sunken place! I’m sure there’s something but that’s pretty fricken terrifying, &+ worse than death I think! 😱😨

I would like to mention *Society* (1989) by Brian Yuzna. If you've seen it, you know exactly why it should be on this kind of list.

I love the theory that Event Horizon is set in the Warhammer universe and that the ship had gone through the warp without a Gellar field to protect them

The ending of “La piel que habito” was also pretty messed up, the guy was probably left terribly psychologically traumatized for life!
