A marine biologist who worked in California told me 13 years ago that orcas sometimes ram boats and sink them. He told me he thought it was a case of the orcas thinking that it was a big whale. I think since orcas are so smart and curious that they are always figuring out new things. This is the actual creature that greatly contributed towards megalodons extinction.

Back in the 1980's, I lived on Padre Island, Texas. I loved to fish. I had a new rod and reel rig, and one weekend my ex-husband and I went with our friend and his new bride to the beach as was usual on weekends. I let my ex take my new rig out with his friend to fish off the third sandbar, into the deep water. The bride was asleep on the beach and I was lying next to her copping rays. I looked up to watch them fish and realized they were doing something very weird. Both men had their arms up in the air and they were slowly walking backwards, it appeared. Suddenly I saw it. A dorsal fin rose up out of the water and then sank back down. Thought I was going to freak out. I started shaking the bride to wake her up and then others on the beach started gathering, because they could see the shark circling them. The shark circled them to the second and then the first sandbar. At that point, it apparently lost interest and left. It was about that time I noticed that my ex wasn't holding my new fishing rig. Turns out, as he was reeling a trash fish he had caught, just as he pulled it out of the water, a shark head came out after it. He instantly dropped the entire fishing rig to let the shark have the fish. A crowd of maybe 40-50 people gathered before it was over including some Park Rangers. I begged them to do something, but there really wasn't much they could do except watch. I never did get to use my new rig. I waited a couple of hours for it to wash it up, but it didn't.

I work with marine biologist I can tell you exactly why the white shark jumped into his boat. The shark was 9 feet which meant in a juvenile and young white sharks go after fish. Also white sharks are known to breach. So the white shark was probably going after a fish and breached and wound up in his boat. It wasn’t out of aggression

@@Jim-px5ip your second comment hasn't showing so I assume you deleted it? You can do all the "Safe" things and still have your life cut short. Many people who live long boring lives often say in their last days, "I wish I lived more, took more risks, push the limits a little". Life is too short to worry about all the "What iffs"! Enjoy it for what it is. This whole "think of all the people you leave behind" attitude is what creates dull lives. It's called living through fear! It only stops people from being truly happy. A truly happy short life outweighs a long and depressive unhappy life. Good luck with that!

@@Jim-px5ip actually, if it wasn't for people that like to explore and push the limits, you would still be living in a cave and you'd certainly not have a phone. Fishing isn't doing anything extreme, it's simply enjoying life and catching untainted food.

Bull shark? I read a story about one: *A young boy of twelve was having a pool party in a swamp-like lake with his friends.Suddenly, he felt something take a chunk out of his side. Then one of his friends that was a bit older than him dived in to save the young boy but then the older boy felt his leg being ripped off. The boys both died from their wounds. It was soon revealed that a bull shark was to blame for the accident. Bull sharks are unlike most sharks, they can breathe in both fresh water and salt water, although they prefer swimming in cloudy water*

I have heard often that the Orcas sometimes think that they can roughhouse with boats. What is seen as *attacking* is just *teasing* to them. They don't think they are doing any real harm. I don't know if that was the case here, or not. Orcas, in the wild, interest me. Stories of them seeming attacking huge boats and even ships by ramming them just for the people on board to realize, the whales were trying to stop them from going into a dangerous area.

This is not a part of the video but sharks and stingrays can get mistaken that humans are seals and squids, Stingrays have some venom in there tail but it is not enough to kill a human the tail wasn't made to kill. Sharks have evolved into stingrays and they are both being hunted by humans and the population is not enough, and now jelly fish have grown in population because of the existing population of stingrays and sharks.. :(

The fact that it is mostly unexplored scares me as there are potentially millions of creatures that can do a multitude of different things both good and bad like it can have a cure for cancer, but there can also be a giant monsterous creature, it is one of the most fascinating things on this planet and yet we know so little about that, its funny i think
