One detail I love, is during Desmond's finale in AC Brotherhood. While making his way below the Colliseum, Desmond stumbles across a lair of Romulus, that Ezio traversed 500 years earlier. Worse still, Ezio walked RIGHT PAST the entrance to the Lupercal precursor vault on his way out. He was SO CLOSE to the truth, and ditn't even know it.

@mjolnirbaldur5770 i do not remember from the game if basim acknowledges the shadows, but they disappear and repear with nehal, also iti is mentioned that the jinni and his vissions are one and the same, memories from a past life, doesn't know if they are his. To me, all these shadows are loki memories being tortured, he wasn't simply locked and forgotten, the isu also had the power to revive people from what i understand from valhalla, when eivor goes to helheim. We never saw the body of loki in the chamber, even tho nehal was *locked* in. Weird story anyway. Trying to connect dots by making more dots, ubisoft doing whatever.

In Odyssey, the quest line that opens up when you have the Fate of Atlantis DLC installed has really cool aspect. You need to access three tombs across the world as both Alexios/Kassandra through the Animus and as Layla in the present day, in order to identify symbols to open the door to the portal room in the Gateway to Atlantis. Puzzles and chests you interact with in the tombs as the Eagle Bearer will be reflected in Layla’s journey through the tombs, and it’s just cool getting to navigate them as Layla with the glow rod and seeing how the tombs have changed since the timeframe Alexios or Kassandra visited them in. The fact Layla has to physically visit these tombs also means that there is potential story in her trips there and how she got there in modern Greece (which could connect into how the Templars locate her group at Thera, where Otso Berg get into the Gateway and the portal room for the climax of the DLC and the climax of Odyssey’s modern day).

(minute 8.25) English is not my first language, so please excuse any mistakes I may have made. There are two versions of the Assassin's Creed Unity book: one is the UK version, which has been translated into all other languages, and the other is the US version. The UK version was published by Penguin, while the US version was published by Ace. In the US version, it's not only Elise who is unfaithful; Arno is also unfaithful. The storyline of Arno and Elise betraying each other is exclusive to the US version. In the UK version, both Arno and Elise remain loyal to each other. Since all other translations are based on the UK version, they are the same. The only version that differs is the US version. In the UK version, as well as in translations to other languages(for example French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German so on.) this storyline is not included. In the UK version, Elise lies by saying she is betrothed to Arno and rejects the captain. This difference is also present in Arno’s journal. In the US version, Arno mentions cheating on Elise with a few women in Versailles and not living in the de la Serre mansion anymore, but this section is absent in the UK and in the translations of the book into other languages. This events happens only in the US edition of the book. No other for example UK, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German so on. There are some logical errors and logical inconsistencies in the US version. My personal opinion, shared by most fans of Arno and Elise, is that it’s unbelievable that Arno and Elise would cheat on each other. I am one hundred percent sure that the UK version is the canon one, especially since it’s the version translated into all other languages. Those elements in the US version feel like they were added later. None of the events in the US version make any sense, and they don’t align with Arno and Elise’s established characters. The events in the US edition don’t suit Arno and Elise's characters. (A few years ago, Unity fan pages were discussing these two topics in depth and mentioning that there were gaps in the storyline of the US version. A great example of this is a podcast by Let's Talk Assassin's Creed KZbin channel (Episode 118 - Unity Book Review (with Marie-Claude aka L'Armoire D'Élise))

Damn so there are a lot of errors and variations in different localizations of the novel. I'll check that video out for sure

@TheHiddenOne690 Since all other translations of the book were made from the UK(Penguin) version, the other translations are identical to the UK version. The extra content might have been added for the US audience.

Also just like Elise with Arno, there is a mention in the Assassin's Creed Renaissance novel of Ezio being in a relationship with a certain someone from the game but cheating on them.
