Solo play decoy nades are the move. Especially if u have rapid regen cola. Decoys help sooo much. If ur getting crowded and need a sec. Just toss one away and you got 10sec of relative safety. I found that i rarely ever needed to use stims when i had them equipped. Also throwing knife is my go to. They help so much. Way more than explosives. And you get that added melee with the blade instead of fists. Which is nice. Glad that stayed.

Tip for the Merc Stronghold. Rush in and immediately drop your energy mine, will kill most in the building, even the ones on the second floor

You should always get *3* chunks of flesh and go to the lvl3 doghouse to feed to the dog. That will spawn you a level 3 invincible bloodhound that can **almost** never be killed and that will always revive you no matter what. (If alive) If you let it fight a mega abomination solo or a diciple with a massive horde in tier 3 its gonna die. It will regen health tho so just kill everything thats a threat to it. It has solod a mega for me tho. (Edited all the mistakes)

yeah the dog is defenitely not invincible. Also i would not recommend fighting Disciples from a Clntract with a dog. The HP absorbtion attack makes lightwork of a tier 3 dog and heals the Disciple a ton.

Just be warned, it doesn't always work. Sometimes you'll get terrible items from the portal, one time all I got for my legendary tier 3 pap weapon was a "picture of a dog" which was a sellable item worth $20

Just to clarify though, it is worth doing. It's a gamble, but you have nothing to lose considering you won't be able to keep those item anyways. Only reason not to do it is if you plan to use Tombstone to regain your items in the next game.

For secondary, I was running empty slot until I found one of the new knives. The smallest curved one. It's a life saver. I can easily get away and plate up from virtually any situation. And it kills weak zombies in 1 swing. If u find one. Definitely keep it in the back pocket.

Big tip for those playing, use decoys and throwing knifes as your tactical and lethals.. decoys are basically monkey bombs that go by quicker, and throwing knifes are quite strong against all zombies just not boss zombies..

A good tip dealing with mercenaries. Spawn with a riot shield. Having it on your back will deflect NOT ALL but some of the bullets and it’s a solid game changer dealing with mercs. Also, death perception will outline where the mercs are and let’s you know what type of merc you’re dealing with.

I am also doing these missions solo. You have some really good tips in here. Some I knew about , but the PhD nest strat I didn't know , and the gas mask repair is really clutch. Great video. I'm on the last mission of act 2.

Really cool! Have been playing for a while and did not know about this. I hate extracting with a maxed weapon. Doe the Pack a Punch level effect what it gives you back? You only had 1 level if PAP, so not sure. Will be testing.

The easist way is to fly into the teir 3 zone either through a portal or off the crains in tier 2 that way you are undetected also worh having either decoy grenades or the monkey bomb to distract any zombies that may be clkose when you land and while at the buy station

Not the only way. Most of the time you're doing the infested Nest or infested strongholds you will get the raw ethereum crystals even the rare ether tools that way you don't have to go into the red zone I've done this various times but you have to do it in a medium threat zone

Been doing the acts all solo while suffering with bugs and disconnects. Act 2 didn't auto my next mission so I had to exfil and restart and another bug is that I have weapons equipped before I start then when I do go to start the game. It says I have no weapons equipped. Besides from that I have really enjoyed this game a lot just a shame the campaign was really short too because that was also enjoyable.

How come when I'm doing infested strongholds it takes a whole clip to destroy a cyst and then i usually go down when reloading when i get swarmed. Ive had pack a punched guns and all the perk-a-colas. Takes forever to shoot them I've gone through 3 masks and had to finish the strongholds without a mask by adding in plates to stay alive. Doesnt help that my characters have been resetting all week everytime i play.

Heres a tip. When you get the ability to craft schematics, you can craft them then immediately stow them/unequipped. Then wait the cooldown, and do again until youve stockpiled a bunch of crafted perks, crystals, tools, ammo mods,

Except, you can only have 10 items stowed. So if you’re playing regularly, you probably already have items saved. And cooldown timers are atleast 3 hours long. So this isn’t a great “tip.”

@@Precursor- Also, once youve done the extract Dr janson story mission, you can farm zombies on the heli pad. Just don't board the heli, and prior going to the story mission place, it helps if you bring in 4 turret circuit boards, there's a turret at the heli that feels endless if using all 4 circuits. Hope this helps if you still need weapon XP.

@@Kean420Adding to what you said, that method is great for the missions that require field upgrade kills (ex. Aether Shroud) or ammo mod kills. Turrets refill your field upgrade very quickly and Aether shroud is dog meat

PhD flopper also lets you not drown perhaps its ability makes you hold your breath infinitely idk, but you don’t have to drop the mask you can just stow it once inside

Yeah ive been playing solo all the way to act 4. Sometimes i wish i had a group to play with lol. I used 3 jugs and they didnt damage the worm at all lol. Only got it to about 2/3 health before i ran out of time

Zombies would be way too easy if they let you just extract and load back in with the same gun having all its PaP's and aether tools without having to reapply them. I just wish they made the stash size a bit larger....

If your stash has ten items go to your pack in gear menu hit swap not unequip go to crafting and swap that the other item will still go stash by passing the 10 item limit

Hey man could help me figure out why I'm unable to slow hell hounds with my cryo ammo mod. I've tried it so many times. Tried it in the grey and orange zones but not red. Neither worked. I got credit for 2 when I shot soo many. I tried shooting limbs and using a weaker gun. Because they seem to die after 1 shot. But nothing is working and I'm stuck on act 1.... :( I know that I need to let them fully freeze. But I can't seem to do it.

The dogs in the yellow zone have more hp. Ftac siege is pretty nice for this work since you can make a build that deals very low damage and you also have a 72 mag available to let you freeze dogs all day long without running out of cryo bullets.

@@MrLarsenTube I got it finally using semi auto on a AR. It was green rare but still worked in both grey and orange. The semi auto really helped. But could u please help me figure out why the uncommon tool schematic for saboteur is not ending up in my bag after I clearly stow it. I don't press use I know I'm pressing stow. But frustratingly enough it's not in my bag once I close the reward rift. Like seriously wtf am I doing wrong here?

Do the bounty contracts in tier 2 or cargo missions in tier 3 for 3000 to 5000 essence early in game and you’ll be able to upgrade and buy things faster
