This is a re-uploaded video from a couple days ago with all the music tracks pulled back. Seems like the compression on certain devices was really brought the music up too much and some of ya'll informed me in some various different ways...some more colorful than others! Fun fact: it took about 100 hrs of filming and editing to make this video! I don't think I'm quitting my day job!

Good to see you kids again ☺️. Great install in the trailer and you definitely want to protect all that gear 🙌. I also very much respect and appreciate your attention to detail not only with the Thunderbolt install but everything in the trailer. My OCD was smiling with your extra steps to make it look clean and like OE 🥰😁🙌. Can't wait for the next video!!! P.S. I am heading to Rondeau today with Arianna (she wasn't there the day you met us) and Adia for an afternoon at the beach. Arianna is bringing her fur baby Zena so we will be heading to the dog beach ☺️.

Thanks! There are a lot of topics we could run with on these sort of things, but you're right, time permitting. We have some travelling vlog content/experience sharing that we're going to try out as it was so easy to film, but if it falls flat, then we'll stick to just informational content.. as visually dry is it might be lol Thanks for the watch and comment!

@@kageandellie your informational stuff isn't very dry, I really enjoy the details.

Haha yes it’s so true! Thank you so much! I wasn’t going to do anything about it until it auto played on our TV and it was MUCH louder on there.. we chose bite the bullet and go for the change! I’m going to be more attentive to that next time!

Would love to see McNalley have a crack at those locks. Notably the lockbox one. Have a feeling it's not nearly as secure as you think.
@kageandellie2 ай бұрын
Well there is a saying, "locks are for honest people". Most locks are hackable/crackable with the right approach, foreknowledge or experience. Most smash and grabbers are not well equipped or, with substances in their system, intelligent. As for the "lockbox" part, if you're referring to the locking pin, if you listen more carefully, you'd hear me say "slow thieves down".. that is different to "no one will ever be able to break into this drawer..." Also, a question I'd pose to you would be, if I have made my entire rig, trailer & van, and it has held together for years under constant movement and working conditions, yet the strength or flaws of a drawer has somehow illuded me? Seems pretty illogical. As for that lock pin drawer.. that is a 5/16 steel threaded locking pin which has a shear strength of 575 pounds. It is threaded into a steel rivet nut that is installed in 2 pieces of 1/8 angled aluminum, that is 1/4" x 2 carriage (370lb x 2) bolted into the 8020 frame, which over the distance of pull cannot be bent by human hands. What IS a weak point are those amazon latches. The pin the holds the handles in place are a thin bent piece of metal that tends to compress with use and fall out resulting the handle fall off. If a thief were to get into the rig, take the latches, KNOW TO ROTATE THEM 180 DEGREES to unlatch them, with the above mentioned pin going into the frame, the flimsy latch pins will just break off and their means of pulling is now gone; which is how it would go for any locked drawer - the weakest point is a latch handle that will break off. Plan B for them could be to resort to ripping off the entire front panel, which certainly could be done with the right motivation and physics applied. They then have gained access to our dirty laundry and our stash of home made Kombucha, with is really the most valuable thing in there. lol At the end of the day, it's not about how strong my rig is, but just about sharing ideas for others to apply to their own rigs.

Unfortunately when you pulled on the door the bottom came out a bit. Looks flimsy, pretty sure somebody could just rip that whole door open fairly easily despite a dead bolt ...
@kageandellie2 ай бұрын
Yes that is a correct observation. I do need to snug up the bolt placement a bit. In an ideal world there would be 2 deadbolts on each door.. and maybe a steel place re-enforcing the entire unit.. nothing is really a 💯 % impenetrable, just more barriers to slow someone down.
