TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU DO DURING MOMENTS WHEN IT'S DIFFICULT TO PRAY?
First Reading: First Corinthians 6: 1-11
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 149: 1b-2, 3-4, 5-6a and 9b
Alleluia: John 15: 16
Gospel: Luke 6: 12-19
What do we do when we lose track of our prayer life? Blessed Paul VI said, "If you have lost the taste for prayer, you will regain the desire for it by returning humbly to its practice." Many times, we also hear the saying "When you find it most difficult to pray, the best way to do is to pray!" Perhaps in our most difficult moments to find dedicated time and space to pray, we can whisper to Jesus and say, "Lord, help me to pray!" We can rest assured, our Lord Jesus Christ will save us and embrace us with His Presence.
This is the 1598th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
