I could never be able to live in Australia. I love getting head from snakes, which works because our snakes are not venomous. Don't get me wrong, I know snakes only want to please, but how can I be certain it won't accidentally bite down when its gag reflex is activated?

Which city were you living in? $3000 per month is way too much rent and certainly it depends on your lifestyle. You can get budget accommodation for sure than that and save money.

To be honest, jaywalking was the first thing I learned in AU. Before coming here, I've condemned jaywalkers for my whole life. But here in Sydney, it seems like only some Asians (myself included) would even hesitate not to jaywalk. I'm not promoting jaywalking -- I still think it's very dangerous, but at least in Sydney not jaywalking will somehow stand out in the Aussie crowds.
@overseasstudentsaustralia2 жыл бұрын
It could be the case but there is always a chance of getting caught and fined also. This news is old but i have seen many people getting fine for Jaywalking precovid: 7news.com.au/news/crime/sydney-pedestrians-targeted-by-police-as-dozens-of-fines-for-jaywalking-are-issued-c-368964

Hi, I am wondering if Vodafone can call other telecoms (Optus, Telstra) for free, or is it only calls between Vodafone users.
@overseasstudentsaustralia2 жыл бұрын
These days, most of the providers have unlimited calling within Australia, so it has kind of become free to call other mobile providers.

Thanks for this fantastic and informative video. When you say 7500$ per month, you mean pre taxes or directly received ? I mean is it in the salary paper 7500$, then you receive 5500% (for example), with 2000$ went for taxes ? Or fully 7500$ ?
@overseasstudentsaustralia Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the lovely comment. Good question as well. Yes, this is a pre tax number and then the tax is deducted based on the tax brackets. So yeah, that's gross income. 👍

At start, it will be hard to understand their accent but will improve over time. It is however much easier to get along with most of the locals without much issue.

Jaywalking? I've never lived in Sydney, so maybe it's a thing there now. However, most places in the Great Southern Land, treat you like the grown up, mature adult that you are, so that particular activity is simply called "crossing the street!" Unless you are a complete moron, you should make to the other side!
@redo735 ай бұрын
He has to highlight that Jaywalking is illegal because it's completely normal to do so in other countries. Some countries don't have stoplights & the only way you cross the road is to weave between traffic.
