While you're right about Kevin Owens not capturing another WWE World title since August 2016 & losing it in March 2017 to Goldberg at Fastlane, Kevin Owens would capture the United States title twice later in 2017. After losing it the second time back to AJ Styles, Kevin Owens would surprisingly NEVER capture ANY championship in WWE for 6 YEARS! KO wouldn't hold another championship in WWE until he & Sami Zayn dethroned The Usos at Wrestlemania 39 Saturday in the main event. That was Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn's very first time ever as WWE Tag Team Champions, let alone Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

I was so excited for Ko vs Y2J wrestlemania match for the universal title(where KO won ofc) and this old fart along with vince ruined everything. Then he did the same to the fiend (rest in piece ).

Goldberg squashing The Fiend and Kevin Owens geniuenly pissed me off for days. Sure it's "Just Wrestling" and WWE letting me down was nothing new or surprising but these two instances were so much more upsetting than anything else I've experienced as a Wrestling fan up until that point and ever since. At least when it comes to the "booking aspect" of WWE. And that is not taking the overall booking of their reigns into account, which is an entirely different kind of disappointment (a few high spots aside).

The Owens one at least isn't as bad since it involved story elements with Jericho. Plus, Kevin Owens refusing to get in the ring before that and trying to get Goldberg to cool down before the match even started was a nice touch. It's still not great but at least it was something. The Fiend match is just inexcusable. One other match I'd put up there is Kofi losing the title to Brock. It was the first show on FOX so there were a lot of viewers. If they had Kofi and Brock have an actual match and have Brock actually earn a win over Kofi then it would have been a lot better of a first impression. Instead, they have Brock beat Kofi in seconds making the previous title holder seem like a joke. Then they just immediately switch to Cain Valasquez in a meaningless feud.

I've never been a Goldberg fan. Sure he was booked super strong, deposing of opponents in record time but that was clearly out of necessity as he couldn't do much else. The fact they let him end title runs of Brock, The Fiend and Kevin Owens in such ridiculously short matches just blows my mind. He's never been a great worker or amazing on the mic and has a move set so limited he makes John Cena look like Dean Malenko.

You can’t have an unannounced thing be the main event, the main event is the main event that is the main attraction for people to go the main event. Main event also does not necessarily mean the final event. It’s a main event, not final event.

Bad one for a rock. Goldberg over heard his sounding off before their match about Goldberg’s son. The first spear hit at an angle instead of straight on causing micro tears in the liver - that’s how body shots when hard enough in boxing can put a guy down. Goldberg then hit the second at the same angle. That made those micro tears bigger but also cracked Brock’s lower two ribs. That basically screws him up. A busted rib in boxing, kick boxing and so on Will end the fight. That’s why Olympic kick bowsers have the body guard.
