Last time Vader was takin serious as a main eventer in WWE, he went on to win the triple crown in AJPW. Also not to nitpick but there is a differance between creative control in a contract and using pull u got from being a top guy or world champ to get your way. Both usually have the same conclusion but when its not written into a contract it really just comes down to the owner or booker not being willing to put down his foot and tell them to go out and do what there told. Ex. Shawn Michaels never had creative control in his contract. Hulk Hogan did in WCW but as far as i know didnt in WWE

Bret's gone on record many times to say it didn't matter to him if he lost in Canada. It mattered to him that he lost to Shawn Michaels in Canada (and in general), because of one specific conversation they had. Bret said to Shawn that no matter their personal beef, in the ring Shawn would be safe with him, Bret wouldn't take liberties and he would be happy to put him over. Shawn responded by saying "Thank you for the sentiment, but I will never do the same for you."
