When I 1st saw my cat, she was a stray that someone had dumped in the area. She was a nursing mother and she followed a few other cats around the neighborhood to doors where people would feed them. We have about 13 strays on our street, going from house to house for food. Our 1st interaction was not so good. She hissed and growled at me and then ran off as I was putting food in the bowl outside. The next interaction was a little better, but she was still very leery of getting close and she still growled, so she waited at a distance for me to go into the house so she could eat. One day I decided to just sit on the porch and see what she would do. It took her a few minutes, but she was still a nursing mom, and she was hungry, so she slipped by me to the bowl and ate as I just sat there not looking at her. I felt her behind me, sniffing, but as soon as I moved, she took off across the street to the empty home where I believe she had her kittens. It took her about 2 weeks, and I noticed her kittens were starting to roam around and they were getting big. I believe she was done nursing them. One day I was sitting on the porch about the usual time she would show up and she just slowly approached me and let me reach out so she could sniff my hand... AND she let me pet her and she started rubbing against me. I waited another 2 weeks to make sure she was done nursing the kittens as I saw them roaming around more and more without her and her without them as well. We had her spayed and vaccinated and she has been living with us for over 8 months now. She sleeps on my pillow at night, follows me everywhere around the house, a few times she has actually sat on my lap and slept there for about 1 hr. She rubs her face to mine in the morning to wake me up, or she will tug at my hair with her mouth, walks across me as I 'sleep' and she purrs ever so softly. She even plays with our 1 yr. old Maltipoo. They chase each other around the house, she will lay on the floor belly up and reach out to the dog to play and plays with the dog toys too. She is a very loving cat.

My cat doesn’t sleep next to me. She sleeps ON me every single night. She refuses to leave my side when I’m in pain specially. Example, I just had surgery on my toe to get rid of an in-grown nail and it hurts really bad. I fell asleep with the cat on me at about 9:30 she made a nest is my legs. I got up at about 10:30AM, still there fast asleep. We care for each other. That’s how we have such a strong bond. We are inseparable. We have so much in common too! I think our relationship was meant to be.

I’ve only had my cat for about 6 weeks but she does a lot of these things already. It only took about 3 days for her to start to approach me for affection, and showing me her belly. I’m very happy she feels comfortable with me and how much we have bonded already. I love her so much. 🥰

I had a black female cat that loved to share 'presents' of animals she hunted. One day she hopped onto our back porch railing, up to the roof, and thru our 2nd story bedroom window (it had a broken screen). She had a small rabbit to share with us! Her catch was almost as big as her! After years, I still miss her. Great video!

My cat will bring me presents but not dead animals. It is always a small branch with some leaves on it and when she brings me a present I noticed she has a different pitch to her meow and it is constant until I go see what it is she brought me and of course I make a big deal about it and she seems to enjoy the fanfare whenever I express my appreciation for her thoughtful gift. I keep them all and have over 30+ random little branches and sometimes it is just a big leaf that I know didn't come out of my yard. I don't know what started her doing this but I think it is so sweet. Cats and other animals are proof that there is good left in the world and I love my baby with all my heart. They enrich our lives so much more than I could ever put into words... I am a firm believer in you can tell alot about someone how they treat animals...

My cat, Nikita, grew up with me. I was like, 3 or 4 years old when we got her. She loves me lots and apparently I'm in her inner circle! She can't sit on my lap, luckily she understands; she is a very floofy fluffer so she is really heavy. We had this communication where if I was lying on my bed and she walked near my bed, I'd roll over and the snuggle session began. I love her so much. Luckily, she's still here!

My cat does all of these except showing me her kittens because she doesn’t have any kittens and instead of sleeping on my shoes, she likes sleeping in my bed. However I’d say she is a very trusting cat in general because she started to do those things only a few days after she moved in to our house

My cat has decided to share my bed sort of anyway. He has started sleeping on top of me. It is fine with me I love having him that close but it's just so funny he just started doing it one night and when I went to bed he would just jump in the bed and get right on top of my left side because I'm a side sleeper and when I woke up again he was still there. Now he could have gotten up during the night sometime because I sleep very hard and very long I don't usually have to get up to go to the bathroom or anything during the night. He could have gotten up and use the litter box or eaten or whatever else he does at night but he was still there the next morning. Which I just I loved it. I praised him over and over and over and I tell him every day how much I love him. He lets me and lately he has been showing me his belly. Which is wonderful but I did it slowly I was just kind of had his belly gently while I was petting his back and when he's standing up that's easy to do I really think he just got used to okay she's petting my belly and she's not hurting me so I'll just let her have the whole thing to pet. I absolutely love my cat and I would do anything for him.

One time, I had a very interesting yet shocking and cute experience with my cat. It was early one morning, I think at the crack of dawn, or it might’ve been just hours before that. I was asleep in bed for the night as per normal, and next thing I know, I wake up to discover this warm, fuzzy feeling right on top of not my head or stomach, but my feet. It turned out to be my cat Olivia. What made it shocking to me, of course, was how cats even don’t mind sleeping anywhere on us assuming we’ve learned to understand how they start to feel comfortable and safe with us. Still, I was just glad I managed to lay still long enough to not even “accidentally” kick my cat off my feet, so she might’ve ran away. But she stayed there, and she must’ve felt so comfortable on my feet. It was that cute, and I’ll never forget that moment. Nor will ever forget every precious moment my little princess and I spent together the 15 years we had in the 16 years of her life.

ive had many cat pregnancies in my home and almost all were around me as my cat would come to my or my secure room to give birth and always bring their kittens or passed away kittens. the last litter, my cat crawled onto my stomach under my blanket and gave birth which helped 1 out of the 3 to survive

He/she was mad at owner of the shoes. Especially if clean litter box was available. I lost my baby boy Friday , I’m devastated. He was a Tabby but looked like a TOYGER.

Could be many things. Please don’t listen to people who say it’s because they’re mad at you though, cats don’t think like that. It could be as simple as the litter box not being clean or has a type of litter the cat doesn’t like. If it’s a male cat and isn’t neutered, it can be territorial spraying. Could also be some kind of medical issue. I would take them to the vet to rule out anything health related first.
