My problem with our small apt is we have really nice dark wooden furniture(dining table, coffee table, tv entertainment center, desk) that where given to us. The thing is they are huge! I don’t want to get rid of them because we won’t always be in an apt. But they make the apt seem dark and small. Also lighting is a huge deal as we have almost no natural light. Lamps only do so much.

This is a great video, thank you for putting it up. I just moved into a Chicago basement apartment, and I'm hoping to turn it from what feels like a prison cell, to something you'd see at some cafe-bistro type of place, although I'm still not too sure about what to do w/my workout bench :P because it sticks right out.
