Thanks for the video. One time I sold a small wooden ornament of an angel playing a trumpet. I had it listed in auction for $1.00. I got a message from someone offering me $75 to take it off the market. I wrote that I had another one that I just had not listed yet. Sight unseen they offered me another $75! Obviously I was over joyed to sell them. I asked the buyer why they were so valuable to her. She responded that they were sold in Germany as something symbolic of resisting the Nazi's. She said her dad would flip them in Germany for a lot more.

Great info! My best sale to date was a $10 silver estate sale frame that I flipped for $750!! Turns out it was very old and rare by a Chinese man. Had to reach out to an online expert, but so glad I did! Thanks for sharing!

You found an expert about the frame the person that made it so it was signed could you elaborate more on how you did that please.

I once had a set of 8 Holt Howard tropical themed mugs, pristine, that I paid either $2 or $4 for the set. They sat for a year or so, then sold for $120. I knew sooner or later they would move, and for good money, Holt Howard is very popular, and the tropical theme is rare.

Hi I have been doing eBay for 1 week today and I already have requested that my account be canceled because somehow I got targeted by physhing and scammers. I knew what they were so I didn't get taken by them but I just got frustrated because no matter how much I told eBay this was happening and that my sales were not going through they just kept adding up my sales amounts and my listings were being virtually held for two or three days marked as waiting for payment which never came and wasn't going to and I knew it. I'm still struggling with trying to get my account closed because yesterday they reposted all of my stuff charging me $5 each reposting so I'm now $25 minus out of my bank account for relisting fees and all I want to do is cancel my account but because I have an existing negative $25 I can't close it. I'm so frustrated with them at this moment but my very first sale was a positive true sale and gave me a whole lot of hope that it was going to be a good experience. Sadly I've not had one single sale since, they've all been these false offers. Do you have any suggestions for me since my account isn't actually closed yet as to how I can feel better about continuing online sales?
@dorothygrantham4370 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jared...I see noone has answered you...did you ever get this sorted out? I'm sorry for your hassle. Am watching vids because I'm trying to get started myself.
@hp4415 Жыл бұрын
@@dorothygrantham4370 the whole story sounds weird, first ebay don’t charge you for listing, only once it sold then they will charge you. Second, they don’t just relist your items. That’s something you do it yourself. In the past, Ebay used to charge you if you list something but it’s only charge you like 30 cents per listing. So the fact they said ebay charge them $5 each repost is fishy.
