I used to have a job in which I did Infared Thermography. We used very expensive equipment to take Thermal Images of different Electrical Panels in businesses and Manufacturing sites. This would help indicate if there were any hot-spots that may potentially cause a fire. That FLIR device is basically the same thing and one good use for it would be to examine your Fuse Box at your home to determine if there are any hot spots. Also to look around at outlets, both empty and those being used to see if there are any hot-spots that may lead to a fire.

A friend of mine let me try out his Nuraphone headphones for a while a couple months ago. For one, the over ear pads are very comfortable, so listening for longer periods (which I struggle to do with some headphones) is quite easy. The set up process works with your phone and it uses a repeating noise to, in effect map how you hear sound before you start listening the first time. Once I started listening I was honestly blown away. The bass and the quality were both perfect, even the active noise cancellation was very impressive, being able to go from hearing everything around you to flat out screaming song lyrics at the top of your lungs and not even being able to hear yourself. I'd say for the price, if you're a serious music listener who cares about hearing every element in the song, the Nuraphones are amazing, and worth the price.
