Hey fella, I learned this game when I was like 6. My mom was a semi pro at solitaire. Since we couldn't afford a computer in the late 90's, she would hop in the cab to a friend's office who had this game on his computer and play as long as she could. I actually have a picture of her sitting in front of those old ass computer screens back in 1999 in reach as I type this in :D . Today she still finishes a game in less than 1 min. Having not less than 12k ish She said solitaire is pretty much like poker...the key is not to win every hand, but to analyse a potentially great game and to finish strong using a sharp mind that one must train over and over again. Love this review, thank you for posting it. -Decimus

At school, they removed all traces of the windows games from the start menu and the desktop (but not the actual harddrive, for whatever reason) once, because shit did very decidedly not get done in computer class otherwise. Taught me a lot about the folder and/or file structure of Win XP, and about how to handle programming and playing Solitair at the same time, but I have to hand it to my teacher - hiding Solitaire was fairly effective for the five minutes that it lasted.

Lothar Meyer was developing the periodic table at the same time as Dmitri Mendeleev and created a scheme nearly identical to Dmitri's. The periodic table was constructed from similar chemical and physical properties in elements and in an order of atomic weight, also there were elements that hadn't been found yet but fit into the scheme as the scheme accounted for atomic weight and could accommodate this and it was even expected that these gaps existed in specific places. So saying solitaire had some influence is more anecdotal than anything else.

QuickNET Tech Most of my fellow US citizens aren't stupid, and it would ignorant if you were to think so. The reason why everyone thinks we're highly unintelligent is because the stupid ones here are louder. As the saying goes, "A few bad apples spoil the bunch.".

+Classy Lizard Man Is Classy True, but most of the people I know (knew actually, I don't socialize much anymore. The few people I do hang with now could care less about little pieces of random knowledge like that. I guess life clouds my perception a little too easy.
@leeking36978 жыл бұрын
QuickNET Tech Yeah I understand. I grew up in a small town and most of my piers ended up getting someone kocked up, or getting kocked up themselves, and a lot of them did meth. Yeah, for awhile there my surroundings blinded my perception of other people for awhile until I moved somewhere else
