I was surprised because personally I'm not annoyed by these arguments really. In a way it's like comparing generational players to each other and it just fuels passionate sports fans. And while teams do win championships a case could be made that just one or two players can make a HUGE differences. Not in every single case, but that's why we as sports fans have these arguments. I think they get annoying when people care far too much about them, but a friendly discussion never hurt anyone

My least favourite is "THis team Has no fans!" and "This team Should relocate!" No. every Pro sports team has fans. Just because the Hurricanes only get 10k people a game, does not mean "No fans". Last I checked, 10k does not equal 0. Those fans of lesser popular teams still love their teams just as much as a fan of a popular team. Those fans devote their lives to their favourite teams, and if they were relocated that'd be taking away a big part of their lives. I'd be beyond heart broken if the Coyotes were relocated.

You have to play in a major league to be taken seriously. It's getting old people saying you have to play in MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL but if you play in the minor leagues like the CFL, AHL, or AAA you are not considered a professional athlete. If you play the sport and are getting paid for it you are a pro athlete period.
