You should check your local game stores for the book. I was able to get a copy that way. Eventhough it's not localized it's been quite easy to follow and the recipes have been tasty.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that there aren't 31 days in each season. My birthday is on the 31st of January and I have no way of choosing that if birthdays were a thing. Also, how unfair is it that you don't get to choose the birthday of your character? I think that should have definitely been something that they added to the game. We should get to celebrate everyone's birthdays in the game even your character. Maybe even have the town throw birthday party events. Now, that would be fun. It would be so cute if you could walk around and talk to people on your birthday and they would all wish you a Happy Birthday and give you gifts. I know that there is a mod for it but there is only 28 days in each season so I don't get to choose my birthday.

What system are you playing on? Just curious because I think some recipes (possibly buildings as well) may have been tweaked in 1.6, although j could be wrong. That said, if they were tweaked and you're on console or mobile, they would be different due to the update having not dropped yet for those. Again, very possible I'm mistaken; but just a thought I had of a possible reason it may be off.

Hey Junimo B, I’m just curious if you know why concerned ape doesn’t have blonde hair as a player option in game? It’s weird because a couple NPC’s have blonde hair but we the players can’t have it. Maybe it could be the topic of a theory video, and if someone like you addresses it concerned ape would recognize the oversight and patch it in.

That's not remotely true. You use the slider bars to change hair, eye and pants color, and blonde is absolutely an option.
