10 steps how to use an Arabic dictionary

How to look up a word in an Arabic dictionary
1. First of all, the meaning of the word to be searched for, should be known in advance whether the word is all original letters, or there are additional letters (زيا)
).
2. If all the letters are original, then search for them based on the beginning of the alphabet and the order of the letters. For example, the word "قَمَرٌ" is searched for the letters م and the word "شَمْسٌ" in the letters م and so on.
3. if there are additional letters, then discard the additional letters and determine the wazan.
