While Jimmy is a very strong character (especially for his size), I do believe that Russell surviving and explosion and being able to knock down a gate by himself is a clear indication that he's stronger than Jimmy. Probably not as agile or smart, but by far the toughest character in the game (from a storymode perspective).

The real top 10 IMO: (without Jimmy) 1 Russell (free roam) 800hp 2 Johnny (without bike) 300hp 3 Edgar (without pipe) 400hp 4 Bif Taylor (free roam) 500hp 5 Derby (boss) 500hp 6 Bryce (boxer) 500hp 7 Damon 500hp 8 Gary (boss) 800hp 9 Omar (boss health) 400hp 10 Norton (boss health, without sledgehammer) 600hp Note: Bif is the toughest to beat next to Russell in the freeroam game because of his blocking and dodging but he can be beaten by Russell, Johnny, Edgar, Boxer Bryce, Gary with boss health and rare free roaming Derby (1/2 of the times) who is just a copy of freeroam Bif himself. Boxer or Boss Bif is weaker only because he has poor defence. Normal Gary has only 300hp health, but with his boss health he can beat everyone, even Russell 1 out of 5 times, because he blocks too much, but he's easy to beat by Jimmy. Free roam Bryce is weak, has 300hp health. Normal Johnny and Edgar has same health and same fighting styles as their boss counterparts. Free roam Norton has only 300hp health and easy to beat. Omar has 300hp in the free roam, and all the townies has same stats and fighting style so they're equal. Finally one who's left out is the Mascot, he's tougher than many in the list and one of the hardest boss to beat because he has a good health bar and kicks in the groin so often, also uses the charging bull attack which Russell with his boss style uses, however behind his costume is a weak character, namely- Constantinos. I left him out because he's a wildcard and hard to place him in the list.

For me the Preppies were the toughest clique since they can dodge your attacks and counterattack. Greasers were the second toughest to me since they block frequently. The Jocks were only a problem when there were like 6 but that almost never happened to me and they were a joke when there weren’t like 6 attacking me. Nerds for me weren’t even a threat. The Bullies were just annoying and the Townies were slightly hard for me but still easier than Greasers.

I've beat russell before without getting hit once all you need is leg sweep and he's a cake walk and so is everyone else leg sweep him make him stumble start hitting him and repeat I've been playing since the game came out on ps2 so I know how to hit him to break his blocks without leg sweep I think he's easy even in chapter 1 I always beat him up for putting pete in the trash he is the strongest npc in the game though

A lot of people don't realize this but Ted (the leader of the jocks that Jimmy beats with one hit) when spawned in free roam and given his unused fighting style is at Bif Taylor levels of fighting skill if not more, having a guard that you'll need weapons to break and even dodging sling shots. Also the mascot ain't no joke because of his charging and groin shots. Another one people often overlook is Ray, the thing about Ray is his ONLY attack is shoving which is completely unblockable.

I think almost every challenging character you fight has a combo that is basically their kryptonite. Bif - 2nd hobo combo spammed, Damon - 5th combo spammed, and everyone else you can fight in free roam really isn’t necessary to use a combo spam for.

If you fought someone like how people fight in this game IRL you would get your ass kicked. Only the preps have a good fighting style IRL (kinda). The bullies fighting style is the worst fighting you could do IRL.

The average weight of a male in America is about 194lbs. Judging by how he held that man who I'm guessing is 6ft tall and weighs about 194 - 200lbs., also holding him with ease and swinging him from side to side. Who knows how long he was holding him for but if we low ball it to about 5 minutes, it's safe to say Russell could curl about 250lbs(dumbbells) as a warm up for 10 reps, max curls would likely be well over 340lbs for a set of 8 - 10 reps. I don't know if I'm right so correct me if I'm wrong.
