One more thing about Russel that makes him such a likeable character is that he and Petey is basically the only characters in the whole game who likes and stays loyal to Jimmy throughout the game. Russel offcourse didn't like Jimmy during the first chapter but once Jimmy and him became friends, they stayd friends for the whole game. Unlike basically every other character in the game whos relationship and respect for Jimmy goes up and down.

In my opinion Petey is one of the most useless characters in the storyline. Don't get me wrong, all he does is to give moral support to Jimmy during cutscenes and state the obvious: "Maybe if you help/beat their leader they will start liking you blablabla". It's like he was added to the storyline just to give Gary a "victim" and develop his sociopath/asshole side, or to give Jimmy someone to talk with when all the school hates him. Outside of cutscenes his role is pretty much the same, cheering for Jimmy. For example: "Fighting Johnny Vincent" or "Jock Boss Fight". The game doesn't even explain how Petey got to the junkyard area, he is just there, it's like they tried to fit him in just because. Not even unused dialogues explain why he is there. And finally, the ending. I know it was pretty rushed but why would Crabblesnitch make "Head of the School" a kid he has never EVER heard about? Or better yet, why would they talk about this during the ending? I don't see how this part is relevant, given it doesn't change anything when playing chapter 6. I feel R* threw this in to make "justice" for Petey and make the players say: "Well everyone had a good ending after all". On the other hand, Zoe's getting admitted to the school again makes more sense as you actually see her spawn in it during chapter 6 and her being expelled was part of her storyline.

50% of me agrees with you and the other half don't, like you said he is kinda useless and that's true he only really appears in cut-scenes giving jimmy some help and all that but i guess he is a good friend to jimmy. But Rockstar ruined pete ngl, he could of played a bigger part and helped jimmy out more in mission, so his character wouldn't of been completely useless.

Best characters of each faction: Non-clique students: Jimmy Hopkins and Lance Jackson. Of course. Jimmy is truly a well-written and relatable character. He can stand up to those jerks and beat them like if they were nobody. Lance is also a character that is more mature than others. He dislikes the fact that the others do things just because they are cool. He also works hard in school. Pleasant personality. Nerds: Thad Carlson. Thad is not as cowardly as the other nerds, which makes him a character willing to defeat his enemies and stand up to whoever bullies him. Despite being weak, he still thinks that he can succeed. He is also very good at making weapons, which relates to his more brave nature. The only Nerd I hire. Bullies: Russell Northrop Russell is tough, but inside he is a loyal person who is willing to help his friends and defend them from anyone. Very adorable. The only Bully i hire. Preppies: Gord Vendome and Parker Ogilvie. Gord is hilarious and polite. He is also stylish, and like Pinky, likes being with poor people because he feels that they are more realistic. He also tries to be friends with Jimmy, and is even kissable. He and Parker are the only Preppies I like to hire. Parker is a nice person, but he has to act arrogant so that his fellow Preppies don’t cause him trouble. The only Preppie I hire along with Gord. Greasers: Johnny Vincent, Peanut Romano and Norton Williams. Johnny is a great character, and isn’t a jerk unlike Earnest, Derby and Ted. Peanut is innocent and funny. He is also very loyal to Johnny. If only I could hire him. Norton, despite being tough, has a soft side. He enjoys sunsets and poetry. The tough guy that can be soft. He is the only Greaser I hire, though if Peanut was hire able I would hire him. Jocks: Kirby Olsen and Bo Jackson. Kirby is funny, and I find him cute. Poor guy is so nervous and closeted, but he is really nice once you get to kiss him. Bo is more mature than most of the Jocks, and like Parker, must be arrogant so that his fellow Jocks don’t cause him problems. Only Jock I hire along with Kirby. Townies: Edgar Munsen and Clint aka Henry. Edgar is a nice guy, and helps Jimmy restore order to Bullworth. He also sees his errors when Jimmy tells him about Gary. Clint/Henry is hilarious. Deep down he seems to be friendly. Only Townie I hire. Prefects: Max MacTavish Max is basically a police officer. He is dedicated to job and acts tough, but that’s because he has an important position and must be serious. The only prefect that isn’t a bully. Faculty: Mr. Galloway and Ms. Philips He is one of the kindest teachers, and drinks but because of Mr. Hattrick. He encourages his students to do their best, and even lets them leave early if they finish their assignments. One of the few teachers that like Jimmy alongside Ms. Philips. Like Mr. Galloway, Ms Philips is also kind and encourages students to do their best. She is also one of the few teachers who like Jimmy alongside Mr. Galloway. Townsfolk: Mr. Ramirez He is a kind man, and also lives happily with his family. One of the few townsfolk that isn’t a jerk. Police: Officer Williams Although he takes bribes, Williams is a good officer that cares for kids and doesn’t want them to ruin their lives by misbehaving. He also doesn’t abuse his authority. Orderlies: Gregory He cares about his job and people, and advices them to seek help if they aren’t behaving well. He once suffered mental problems, but managed to overcome them. He is also fairly soft-spoken.

This is probably a divided opinion, but I really love Mandy: • she’s horrible to Beatrice and bullies her which she does undoubtedly suck for, I mean it’s hard to watch her bullying Beatrice in chapter one, but there’s more to her character then just that •rockstar leave lots of details in their dialogue, and it’s implied in free-roam chatter that Mandy has an eating disorder which sadly makes her relatable to a lot of teenage girls •Also in Chapter 4, discretion assured, Mandy has images of her leaked, and while the game does it in an unrealistic way, it’s not really unusual to have people do similar things. The things Mandy says in that mission really make the game feel more human. The first time I played the mission I remember it feeling so out of place because she’s one of the more relatable characters and unlike lots of the others, there’s more to her than just a bully- again, all the characters feel like cartoon caricatures of real people, but to me it feels like the most human part of the game

I get why people like Zoey, but I think Angie, Christy and Pinky are the best girls - Angie is the most down to earth, normal girl in the game. She's nice and I like that being normal is what makes her stand out - Christy is the funniest girl to me. I love that she's a gossip without being bitchy like Mandy. I like that she's one of the most notable Non-Clique students too. - I like that Pinky is nice to Jimmy when they meet, and I appreciate that you go on an actual date with her. The fact that she encourages Jimmy during the date even if he loses the carnival games and cheers him on at boxing despite being a prep herself makes me like her even more. It's a shame they never stayed together during the story.
