Yes. I have a tabby cat that I found on my sister's porch. He was frail with both of his eyes crusted shut. He had obviously been abandoned and left to his own demise. I had nothing but love for him. I knew that if I were to walk away from him, I'd live to regret it; knowing that I could have helped him. So, I immediately brought him home as sick as he seemed to be.. After taking him to the vet, given antibiotics and his shots, he began to regain his strength, eyesight, and health. His eyes apparently suffered from his lashes or hairs that were growing inwards, causing discharge and irritation in the eyeball. He has somewhat short legs and a long body. He has a pattern of Leopard like marks on his belly. I named him Kudos because he made such an amazing recovery. He's my baby and, I love him each and every day. I was the first comforting voice he heard as I called him out from the bushes. He came to me and started purring. I had NO CHOICE but to take him with me and there's not a day that goes by that I don't regret it. I can never get upset with him. Matter of fact, I call him "King Kudos", because he's my little King.

I love tabby cats. Many of the cats that have lived with me throughout my relatively long lifetime have been tabby cats, including the beautiful orange tabby cat that I live with now. 😻👍🏻

I love that you say that you live with your cats and not “own” them, etc. I use similar phrasing because it just feels wrong to do otherwise.

Me too! I also usually say cat family, friends because as you say, we don't own them, we I've with them. This makes me happy to read. The concept of owning others needs to go in the human species. of course not everyone saying that means it that way, I'm sure I say it sometimes, but the mentality is important. If anything, they own us 😂😉. My first cat was a female orange polydactyl and she just passed a year ago at 19. She was my kid. Not all my pet family has that relationship with me, but she was definately my baby and she saw me as her mom. I wish most of humanity could see our shared relationship with tame animals can be friendship/companionship and family. I love orange tabbys now. Kiss yours for me. I now live with a brown patched (also my new child apparently ) and she is unbeleiveble. So freaking smart and loving. I have a tabby he's gray with black stripes..but what's so special about him is all four of his feet are snow white.. that's why I named him Socs...he is so sweet and loving.... he's still a kitten he's 5 months old.. but he's getting so big... but he's my baby..he loves to be cradled and sang to... he's my joy

So I guess that I have a European tabby. Well, I named him Ramses because of the lines around his eyes and he definitely acts like he is. 😂 I’ve got a few scars from teaching him how to play tag as a kitten, but I love him anyway.

All of my 21 years of life I've had tabby cats, I've loved every single one of them I have 4 now an orange tabby, a gray and white shorthaired tabby tho he is huge and a long haired tabby/persian mixed gray and white tabby shes my lil diva but I love her to bits and I have a very unique looking tabby her type of tabby is foreign to me shes got marble like markings aswell as normal stripes but her colors are unique shes got lots of beige, gray, brown and even orange shades in her fur tho she looks like a little old lady 🤣

My cat is a toyger with a little bit of sokoke. But mainly toyger!! I love my tiger cat!! He is very protective, always hungry, playful, lazy sometimes, lots of energy, not fluffy (shirt hair), kinda of chubby lol, can get aggressive, jealous, has 1 favorite which is me, loyal, and friendly.

I have a beautiful cat who found me. ❤She has a tabby face, but her body has gold designs, her legs have circles around them and her tail has circles around it like a raccoon with the tip of her tail being blonde. Me too! But she was in the neighbors garden and came right to me with wide eyes talking. So loving and hasn't left my side since. She is a red and brown patched tabby and she looks much like a tiger more than the other tabbies I have known. There is something very special about female orange tabbies. My cat child who passed was one. They are very special, you'lle see, and pretty rare apparently too. Isn't it cool that one day you go outside like it's a normal day and then a cat walks out and says, hey nice to meet you! Wanna hang out every single day and night? And then suddenly your day was not so normal :) cheers to garden kitties picking their humans to live with.🌺😺🌳

@@89ksokd91 When I was a little kid we was at the gas station, and my momma said we got to check the inside of our van in back because we heard a scratch sound. So we seen that we left the back door open and in there was a tiny little furbean, all dirty and stinky, so we ended up cleaning him up, after we get home and fed him, got him to vet, made sure he was alright health wise and checked the local paper every day, so after nobody ever came forward to claim him, he remained our buddy.
