I'm also just a casual fan of LOTR, Sauron is definitely one of my favorite things about the franchise. This figure looks so cool, I never knew I wanted a Sauron figure. I wonder if there are any cheaper smaller figures of him. Great review!

Regarding the extended (superior) edition of LotR, even Christopher Lee was disappointed that that scene was cut. He felt that was the resolution of his character and leaving it out left it just hanging.

Those are very good detailed quality figures, consider this came out around 2003 ! Toy Biz really did and excellent job.

perfect 1 12 scale here, THE greatest testimony to the greatness of toybiz and probably THE coolest figure in all of 1 12 scale, one reviewer said that it's maybe the best action figure ever produced...i can only agree...

Would you be able to tell me what batteries this figure takes? On the box it says LR66, but I purchased said batteries, and they were too small. If you could tell me what kind of batteries your figure has, it be most appreciated.

I had this toy when I was 10. It was my favorite action figure. I didn't find it creepy or disturbing at all lol. My brother got Treebeard and I got Sauron. Of course he thought because he had the bigger toy he would automatically beat me. Haha

Hmm, seems like your brother did some good adjusement to the Sauron figure(the one I had as a preteen did not have movie accurate clothe drapes along the chest).

I haven't seen it yet! And I won't be making that. There's a handful of Mandos I'm missing that are so expensive it's not worth it. I collect every clone trooper, that's enough for me. lol

@@Jcc2224 thanks jcc2224 I saw someone on ebay that sells arc trooper Blitz for like 20 bucks and the shadow arc trooper for 23 so if you wanna make some customs I think it's nice. And for customs I think about making a custom 212th trooper w removable helmet, do you think I can cut out a little bit from the phase 2 cw helmet and put down a Cody head?
