Hey man, I just want to say thank you. 3 years ago I bought an acoustic and stopped playing after a while, I got bored of learning songs and felt that I could not progress. Then after a while I tried electric guitar and came across your videos, now I am progressing faster than ever! For some reason your videos keep me glued to the screen, interested to a degree I've never felt before. Thank you for providing theory and making it so easy to understand. You don't teach us songs, you teach us music.

really liked the parts of the video where you got more intermediate/advanced or generally more nuanced with it. would love to get more videos specifically emphasizing practice and performance tips for upper intermediate players to take our technique and feel to the next level. what i'm really asking for is a phrasing video lol... breaking down more of those little motifs and movements with bends, double stops, ghost notes etc. that i definitely didn't slow down and copy haha

Hahaha, I definitely need to do a video specifically on phrasing. I'll get working on something. Just wanna make sure I do it justice 😅

For longer slides, look at the desired fret when sliding, not the start off fret. Really improves accuracy

A content suggestion. You could make a video on each one of these. Bonus if you would add some practice ideas.

Bending and sliding come naturally for me, but i don't know how to incorporate them into short licks, short licks are my kryptonite, did you do a lesson on undersranding licks if not, can you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

My biggest issue with speed is that I lose my sense of rhythm. It's like when a skateboarder is in the air, I have no clue of where I am going to land and how much time I have until I land. Guys that can squeeze a lot of notes and know exactly how it will fit into the overall rhythm "box" is what impresses me the most and I'm not sure how to train for it.

what is that water ripple like reverb
@andrewclarkeguitar
@andrewclarkeguitar 11 ай бұрын
It's spring reverb. Some amps have it built in, but you can also get it from a pedal. I'm using a Universal Audio Golden Reverberator to get that sound.
