Jason X is one of my favorites in the franchise. I saw it in the theatre when it first came out and it’s still one of the ones I love watching. It’s just sad people take it so seriously and have to dump on it and turn their noses up at it. Fans like us know it’s meant to be campy fun but some people can’t get that.

13 Ghosts had a great run on DVD and has a cult following tae this day. The kill was memorable, but so were all of the ghosts, the house, and a few scenes I won't mention (including Ghost 13) because it is actually a good film. Hell, the DVD even has extras that go into great detail on the ghosts!

As cool as the liquid nitrogen kill was in Jason X, Mythbusters actually proved that it wouldn't happen like that. The front part of the head wouldn't freeze solid fast enough in the few short seconds that Jason held it in the liquid for it to then be so easily shattered. With Jason's supernatural strength, he probably could have smashed her head open regardless, but it should've been much more gory and liquidy (like something out of a Terrifier movie), as opposed to the solidly frozen chunks of flesh we see in Jason X. I also disagree with you that Jason X is a bad movie. For me, it falls firmly into the "So bad that it's actually great" category. It's also worth noting that, because Jason's actions in the movie caused the ship he was on to crash into and destroy an entire space station full of people, Jason X gives Mr. Voorhees by FAR his biggest overall kill count of the entire franchise.

@jdsim9173 Honestly, I would still give them credit for this one Cause that's an easy mistake.Technically , the pully system is set up to a wire that it's not supposed to be and rips off another wire that is attached to a bunch of banisters making it I have a very similar visual Look to something like a wire snaping I even thought it was a wire snapping as a kid and only realized it was an intentional thing as an adult

Thirteen Ghosts had some of the best production design I've ever seen in a movie. That mansion, with its endless glass walls, was unforgettable (and must have been absolute murder to film). And the ghosts themselves were pretty darn imaginative -- I just wish we saw more of them.

M Knight Shyamalan gets a bad rap. The trailers to his movies always make it out as something it is not, so people get disappointed when it turns out to be something else. All of his movies are good. And I'm pretty sure in Old, the pharmaceutical company simply found the spot and decided to conduct research, they were not the cause of it.

Jaws 4 also had a decent beginning where it got the brody son....in the novelization, there is a lot of voodoo going on, where the shark is made to go after the brody's..that point, however, is completely overlooked in the movie. also the sub plot of Caine being a drug smuggler is also left out...not like that would have made this movie any better with the two plot points added

You are too hard on Case 39 and A Cure for Wellness, they have flaws but are far from terrible. Conversely, is time that we admit that Shyamalan isn't a great director with some misses, but rather someone who got lucky with his first two movies. And as for Old, I think that the best scene is actually the baby's death. It's a quick an unexpected gut punch, and it also encapsulate the sense of existential dread and mystery the movie should have been about.

The beginning of Jason X threw me off since Jason had a full head of hair, but the more I see the beginning of it, the more I freak’n love that initial take Über Jason was definitely a choice they made, but it was an attempt at something new and got us a callback with the sleeping bag kill Nowhere near great… not all that good… but also not entirely ~bad~

Speaking of going to space, "Hellraiser: Bloodline" rather sucked, but when the satellite changed it's configuration it was kind of cool. Hellraiser[5]: Inferno where [SPOILERS!] we learn he has always been in hell, which is duplicated in Hellraiser[6]: Hellseeker where we learn Kirsty made a deal with the high priest which is similar to what Clive Barker later put into the comics where she takes his place as high priestess.

That opening scene in "Ghost Ship" annoys me. I am willing to suspend some disbelief in order to enjoy a movie, but having that wire cutting as if it were a powerful laser turned the movie into a cartoon. Kept waiting for a character to pull a frying pan or giant mallet out from behind their back.
