Thank you for posting these! My uncle wrote most of these Mark Curtiss He has passed away & it was really neat to discover these again, after not seeing them for so many years! Thank you! ❤️❤️

I remember watching this episode the most as a kid because it was always in my local library. Watching it as an adult, I gotta hand it to the writers for making such a charming romantic comedy out of a very boring fairy tale.

Liza was 38 years old and Tom 43 when they made this film. But they could've passed for a couple in their early 20s !

"Something ghastly has happened to this room." "Oh, I cleaned it up." It's like the prince likes the fool's room as messy and dirty as a pigsty. Hilarious.

These are so well crafted. The writing is intentionally targeted to build vocabulary and comprehension in a way that children don't really even realize how much they're absorbing. Simple, effective, absorbing and lovely!

So the Prince knows this Princess was the right one for him when he sees it in the gentleness of her eyes, hears it in the softness of her voice, and feels it in the kindness of her heart.

This is the most humorous of the lot so far, and it has the sweetest love story, complete with a fireworks launching, bells ringing and trumpets sounding, first kiss. Every player perfectly plays their part, but Liza really outshined them all. She definitely inherited her mother's sense of humor, quick wit and delivery. Speaking of...this cannot be easy for Liza to look back on and my heart has been completely poured out for her just as it has for Judy.

I like this version of the princess and the pea because we get to see the characters personalities grow throughout the episode. The princess brought out the princes better side and now he sees that a title is the state of mind rather than just a mere label and status.

31:45 "Someone just like you " and the violin in background lifts up ❤️ absolutely romantic the whole scene from 31:45 - 32:27 is a beautiful romantic music video straight out of a Fairy Tale. 💖💓💕 oh wait, it IS a Fairy Tale 😊

I love romance and fairytales! And I love this episode! It's so true to the actual story by Hans Christian Anderson. Princess knocked but wet, and word for word almost of "I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It's horrible." When I read that I'm like "wow almost word for word." And the best part, the pea got to be put into the museum. And that's why I love this show, hold true to the actual tale unlike Disney.
