Loved this! I was adopted back in 2008 from Estonia and I didn’t know a word of English. I learned English by watching Disney - Underdog. Shoeshine was one of the first words I could pronounce. Love, love Disney. Even now at the age of 25, whenever I visit Disneyland it’s one of the most surreal days and moments where I feel like magic is real and you forget about the outside world.

I know of a couple who has a home in Golden Oak. I love their home, because it's NOT a big home, it's a cottage , with inground poolwhich isn't huge , it's comfortable to live in . They travel back and forth , every 6 or 9 weeks. They work from home, they have so much fun . The Disney World theme park is close to their home and they can see several fireworks from their 3rd floor "birds eye view". They vacation to beautiful places and even go on cruises . Two of the nicest couple you ever meet . Both are well educated and and have many businesses . The wife is a youtuber and an Artist too.

I was very similar in the fact that I didn't travel much until I met my wife. Also, her family is also very big into Disney! Her parents have been DVC members since just about the very beginning! Nice to see we are all kids at heart. I live in the UK and when I was 8 and 14 I was lucky enough to travel to Orlando Disney. My parents took out loans to do so and all these years later I still have great memories. We were supposed to go back in 2020 for my brother's 40th with his kids but COVID happened. My dad's 70th and my 40th this year so maybe have another go if we can get the family together.

Its so cool to hear about your disney story and how similar it is to mine. Ive never been to disney land/world and my wife has always said since we started dating in high school that she wanted to take me because she and her family always enjoyed going. So in about 2 weeks we are finally going after being together almost 10 years and I cant wait! Also I'm not a pilot but I am an A&P. It was one of the hardest things I had to do to go through school and take all my certification tests. Now working for a big airline I can use the flight benefits to travel to places I probably would never have had the chance to visit.

I was thinking this Steve Hamilton guy is alright but now with the Disney revelation,I’m a legitimate fan! I’m 52 yrs old, WDW is where I’ve always taken my kids as a divorced single Father and it’s where I proposed to my fiancé that I’ve known since high school This past Feb 13th. We’re currently planning our wedding there at the Grand Floridian for next May. It’s definitely nice to have somewhere to go where you can feel like a kid.
