The Biggest thing about this movie for me , is one element , it seemed like when the character who was so grief stricken over his teacher's death , when he discovered the people who murdered his teacher , became almost completely insane ,and turned into almost a serial like killer , this movie almost could have been called The Japanese Serial Killer , now I am glad that it wasn't of course in this day and time that would not go over very well , with everyone so sensitive these days .

@@JerryHickey-1958 lol no because the police turned a blind eye. Who was murdered before BL started killing? His teacher. Plus they kept coming there and harassing everyone at the school. Why weren't they arrested and charged with trespassing? Then, to top it off, they murdered right on his family's property. No way was Bruce Lee at fault. I'd been shredding them too only I'd be using guns and stuff. But, it's not real. It's a movie. lol

When I was a kid in the 70s, my family got the same type of umbrella. The rib tape are green in colour but the umbrella panel and the inner canopy is orange. So when you close the umbrella, only can see the green rib tape ( see carefully, a bit of orange at the edge when he handed over the umbrella to Bruce).

Also, there was one thing I noticed: when Bruce fought with Bob Baker, you could see his back very clearly & there was nothing there except for muscles before Baker gave him an arm lock which Bruce had to bite him. When Bruce fought with Suzuki next, he pulled his nunchakus out suddenly where it wasn’t there for the last scene. Overall, I consider Bruce vs Baker as one of the best fight scenes ever choreographed in martial arts cinema, it was great & real.

I do sometimes call the movie the chinese connection, it's just so engrained in my brain. What makes it even more confusing/funny is the original north american cut has a song in the beginning credits with a main lyrical hook that says fists of fury (plural haha). I just imported the 4k discs and my kids were getting frustrated with me pausing and going back to the menus to figure out why the song didn't have vocals in the main English dub option. It was buried in the options for the original US cut that changed the entire intro credits section to be what I remember as a kid. Makes me wonder if there are any other small differences, cheers

I liked the bit with the Jackie Chan clip during training, that was the keenest fact for me as I didn't know that. Most of these are sort of nitpicks kinda, like length of chain or frame cuts missing a second, but still enjoyed satisfying my curiosity of the vid! Very entertaining Mr. Stripey. As for superhuman feats like lifting the wheel barrow, that's who Bruce Lee is in real life. It's not an exaggeration imo. The two dummies he was twirling in a circle was brilliant to me in the choreography but I don't know why they used dummies it looks horrible. I understand that MAYBE he just doesn't have the ability to do it but I wouldn't doubt that he could either. But let's say he could do it barely by the skin of his teeth but couldn't do it gracefully to be cinema worthy, why not just use teenage boys or even light girls for the stunt and have full padding on their bodies underneath their broad-easy-to-hide garments for protection? Dummies was really a bad choice there. Just use real human MEN on wires or for real with two girls that are professionals or two teenage boys that are still light, Bruce could definitely do THOSE. Bare in mind, Lee's shoulders (cuz that feat is a shoulder strength feat) is a power that matches METRIX worlds strongest Man competition for "Thors Hammer Hold". Those Metrix Men weigh up to 300-350 lbs and when they do the "Thors Hammer Hold" the weight is literally a heavy ass 60 lbs., all PURE SHOULDER strength (deltoids to be exact). Well according to Guru Inosanto (a Paratrooper 101st airborne division) Lee can hold out for the Hammer hold a whopping 120 lbs. And that's not some rumor or hearsay, that is directly Inosanto's testimony, who isn't some casual citizen off the street, his credibility is that of a soldier (as I mentioned) and was also a member of the Strategic Army Corps. So the credibility of a member of the military's direct testimony of 120 lbs for the "hammer hold" is twice that of the World's Strongest Man competition, who are giants that weigh 350 lbs. BUT, that Metric competition does that hammer hold for a good 45 seconds to 1:07 and we don't actually know what duration Lee held that 120 lbs. What we do know in regards to time duration is that Lee could hold a 75 lbs hammer hold for 15-20 seconds. This is according to once again a Man of high credibility as a former Military soldier and world champion fighter, Joe Lewis (we all have mixed feelings on his foolishness here + there but he does speak truthfully now and then). Lewis's direct testimony of being a first hand eye witness is that Lee held the 75 lbs for 15-20 seconds. Yes, the Metrix guys are doing 45sec-1:07 but to account for the lesser time on Lee's part you have to factor that he's doing 10 lbs heavier! So those are the facts. Conclusion, Lee's shoulder power matches if not exceeds the World Strongest Man and so he could easily do the "twirling dummies" with real people who were lighter, such as teenage boys or pro stunt girls yet they opted the poor choice of using mannequin dummies?? Welp, that's enough ranting from me! That's what your videos do Stripey lol, thnx for the vid. Always look forward to them!

Watch how they bounce off the last persons head in the first flurry of strikes. Charles posted a photo a couple of years ago. Also there is a continuity error eith them when he fights the sensei. They are at the edge of the mats at the start, but Bruce picks the up from the middle of the room after. the fight Lastly when he enters with the Sick Man of Asia sign, in the Cantonese dub he says he is the weakest student changing the meaning of the whole scene.👍
