I just recently started getting REALLY into Grounded. I've always played it but never really gave it a full effort. As soon as I got to the Upper Yard, it blew my mind how big the entire yard truly is and the amount of detail that is included. It's really one of my favorite games over the last few years.

Depending on the resources they get for a sequel id love to see digging/tunneling added. taming. let me hunt the coi fish, maybe burgle could have gone all captain ahab. Late game gliders for sure. Hard candy windows (stained glass made of jolly ranchers?). Let us use some of the abandoned toys as decorations for our bases, and yes to a bit more biom variety (maybe an unmowed part of the yard with a sprinkler could be a more rainforest type environment, broken fridge for icy area like you were saying etc.) and honestly just more variety of insects (centipedes, caterpillars, black flies or horse flys etc. and finally i would have loved to see more integration of the dnd game that we see set up on the table or the toy lines referenced throughout the yard (a mech made of a battle toads figure or something?)

Id like to see some more evidence of humans living above oblivious. Perhaps a person in the yard throwing a can over the fence or doing some gardening. Also like to see at least part of it set in the house. Perhaps the family dog ( a truly gigantic animal) roaming around the house.

This would be amazing, but because of lore reasons maybe only used if Grounded 2 takes place in a different yard(which, come to think of it, it probably will), because one of the logs in the Haze Lab says that everyone but Wendell has moved out, and then of course Wendell was stuck, so the inside must be abandoned.

What I want for Grounded 2: -Cold Biome -Inside House area -more bugs to fight -fightable animals/fish (I want revenge koi fish) -combat pets (taming soldier ants, taming insects to fight) -even more building pieces in new architecture styles -stuff themed around toys, like the plastic walls of the Mazes and Minotaurs tabletop -even more materials, armors, weapons -beehive to enter and explore, honey! -Finally, Mod support, so we can make stuff the devs don't want to.

Would love Terrian Editing Tool. Getting to make our own tunnels, hills and ponds would make the custom maps mode SOOO much better Otherwise It's pretty meh personally. I would want to make my own jungle-like yard. With elevation. And big puddles... That be the coolest to me personally.

Following the lines of magnets and robots, me and my friend discussed about being able to make mechanical/electrical components by harvesting the robots with said magnet. It would come late in the game, because having a whole ass exoskeleton at the hedge lab would be too overpowered. I think they drop rates for components would be rare, but the robot boss could give you special parts like maybe a controller or sensor, same way the assistant manager could drop a pressure sensor, so you could activate traps. My other thoughts on this, is that there could be a skill tree of sorts, but not too overpowering, because this is a survival game, not an RPG. So, i think that you could either go "autonomous" or "manual" the autonomous route would require you to beat the toy robot and the manual to beat the director. Manual could give you access to tazers, mechanical armor (exoskeletons), or power tools (chainsaw, generator, exc). While the autonomous path could give you access to augmented TAZ.Ts, traps, and auto resource gathering. This was a lot to take in, but if you read it all, i appreciate you, and this all probably wont get into grounded 2, but i hope it will because it would add another dynamic to the game (desision making), and other paths available to the player to make their lives easier or harder. If anyone working on grounded sees this, please add it, and everyone else have a wonderful day!

you talk about it and i'm tied with the XP system, i do think we should have it but maybe tweak it a bit from your thoughts since if mega molars only give XP boost and you're maxed out then it would be useless to collect them XP- level up by killing bugs and doing so gets you HP and stamina boost, maybe ATK and DEF boost as well? (would lean into the dnd vibe they wanna do as well) mega molars- boost stuff like item limits, hunger and thirst limits, mutation slots, item durability boost and maybe even a extra accessory slot super m-molars- gets you exclusive upgrades, like if your max health with XP is 200, then a exclusive upgrade with SMM makes it 300 allowing you to be more tanky while another player could have a max ATK of 50 to a max ATK of 100 with their exclusive allowing for more damage (with each exclusive costing more to unlock, allowing everyone big boost with their gear making up the roll difference at "end game" but also allowing a solo player to not feel hampered by the upgrades)

I thought of an upside down fridge still plugged in a long time ago for an idea for frozen area.. like the fridge area would be freezing and “snowy” the freezer area would be completely iced out with a boss.. all the insects were different. The player also had to stay warm

It’d be cool if they added more pets like grubs or maybe tadpoles although they are already adding the baby ants. Maybe more mites like bed mites (although I don’t know where they’ll fit). Maybe a weapon rottening machine if you want to use the rotten berry charm.

1. Upgradeable shields. 2. Glider/flying pets you can ride. 3. Climbing (sap gloves, tameable pets that climb). 4. Paint for walls/roofing made from flower petals and dew/sap. 5. Events - rain (temporary flooding), wind (leaves, acorns falling, berries falling, affects gliding), animals like a cat moving through the yard, or chasing mice, other birds (robins nest?). 6. Climbing bugs, flying and landing on vertical services. 7. Weather - rainy, snow, affects terrain, freezes water - items to support, skates, cold gear, bugs change, melt ice etc. 8. Mutated plants (ominent enemies/experiments) - chompy berries? 9. Craftable backpacks. 10. Plants that grow over time - grass gets longer/denser - new limbs on tree or hedges, berries/acorns change size as they grow back in or reach max size and fall themselves to ground? Just making the plants feel more alive… add fruit/veggie plants?

Weather would be interesting, but it would have to be implemented carefully. We're tiny, so even a drizzle would be a natural disaster for us. I could see rain dealing damage to the player and their base. Lots of damage to the player, small damage to the base. There can also be rain-specific bugs. Grubs could emerge from the ground, worms and snails could be introduced, maybe a frog could show up and be something like the koi where we can't kill it but it may drop a resource we could use.

A very simple idea but a very good one, would be for more diverse spiders to be introduced like tarantulas, huntsman and maybe a trapdoor spider would be awesome

I would have loved to utilize the robots as helpers around the base to automate things in late game. Mounts would just be fun but still another late game grind to get to perhaps. More bosses. I would have absolutely lost it over a Scorpion boss. I even thought there was going to be a mechanized Brood Mother after the Infected one came out. But overall I’d be happy playing another version of Grounded. This game was and is amazing.

I really wished we had better looking armor sets. All the spider sets are just recolors which really sucks. Same thing with the weapons. I wished we had like ritual blades for the black widow set or an assassin blade. Something unique.

When the game first came out me and my friend instantly bought it and drew pictures of biome ideas. One was a crashed drone and it hit a big bug and you had to fight it to take pieces of broken plastic around the drone

i feel like respawn timers or bug spawn amounts should be adjusted for multiplayer massively, getting the full antlion set for 4 people (to do spicy coaltana defense) literally takes forever takes at least 6 full clears of looting all the ones in the sandbox and waiting for respawn for 4 people, maybe the super duper can help a bit now but it feels wasteful to not use it on trinkets at that point

My changes would be weapons/armor and upper yard. I know we have a lot of gear, but it is a mixed bag. A lot of the time for builds you are locked to gear that isnt as good, but need the abilities. Given a lot of the upper yard is reskinned bugs no reason we couldnt have gone the Monster Hunter route. Let me take Ladybird parts and make my Ladybug armor tier 3. Let me take termite parts and make my black ant sword tier 3. We have a couple weapons already that are just reskins. Let that be a natural upgrade instead of “Dont level up your Red Ant Club bc you going to get a Fire Ant Club”. The last thing is the upper yard in general. The lower yard feels diverse and lots of great building spots. Upper Yard feels very rushed and not a “second half” of the game. Once you make it there it is more you dick around until you are finished vs real progression.

Given how much the kids craft im sure theyve been there for at least a year so seasons do make sense. I disagree about riding, play small world or whatever its called if you want that same with custimizing. We have armor and the kids wouldnt have a freah pair of minuture clothes just waiting for them. I agree about going into the house though. For traversing itd be cool if eventually got a glider like you said or a grappling hook or even if its just rope only to go vertical or maybe tight rope walk with it then you only need rope not a zipline system and rope would only be for short distances same with grappling hook.

I respectfully disagree with regards to mounts. Especially with the upcoming update whereby we can now have an ant pet. Ants are able to walk up vertical surfaces so it would have been cool to be able to climb a vertical surface with an ant or fly across the yard with a bee. As for seasons, i can see where it would be difficult but think it would definitely add an awesome element and if anything... even if it didn't snow there would be a period where the bugs hibernate and you could focus on building... though you might have to interrupt their hibernation for bug parts. After to introducing my kids to Grounded, I let them watch Honey I shrunk the kids and one thing I felt was missing was raindrops and how that would sound and feel like entering a battlefield of bombs dropping. I want more bugs. Like the trash heap was a perfect place to throw in maggots, worms, flies. Being able to go into a Trash bag and find unique items. Grasshoppers, Crickets, Butterflies, Caterpillars, Slugs, more Moth variations, more Mantis variations, Stick Bugs, Spider-Crickets, Dragonfly and more. We got a crow, so we could have other elements like bird poop. It would be cool to get things like Snakes, Lizards, Mice, Cats and Dogs that one doesn't have a hope of fighting... just like the Koi Fish.. you have not choice but to dodge those elements when they come into play. While updates are done... I do hope they will do DLCs.

Don't get me wrong i want some fresh stuff to be added but game already feels overloaded and oversaturated especially upper yard. Grounded has maybe most content out of any survival game. the amount of content it offers baffles me. Glad they are not adding any more content(content overload, and performance), as game is already perfect as it is, and in reality by the way u will never ran out of ideas no matter what. Devs are extremely talented how came up with whole game kept it perfectly stylized and balanced, packed world. For the suggestion u mentioned, they simply need to make bigger map so they dont have to forcibly fit everything to small area(upper yard for example). Also and dont like too much variety in games as usually it loses identity to be everything, stylized games retain longevity and fanbase, u simply cant please everyone. lastly we def need grounded sequel hope we get(fingers crossed).

Have you not seen the end credits, or understand how sequels work, 1. They have to go small because scmectar escaped and kidnapped burgle 2. They need to shutdown dominant tech and only they can be shrunk again 3. Trying to miniturise food production to save costs ina 3rd world country thing go wrong and the science club kids have to survive ina tropical jungle, There's billion ways to do it

@@JadePGCrafted Depends on which end credits are considered the canon one. The bad ending Director Schmector is still using the tech and profiting and Tully is trying to find a cure. Good ending Schmector is stopped and Tully and the kids are all fine. Im all for more grounded, love the game, but I don’t want them to milk it just cause fans are hyping something up the devs maybe don’t want to do. That’s how bad sequels are made

Honestly I could care less about playgrounds. I've never tried it and never will. I've put 550 hours into grounded, and I really just like the vanilla game. There's plenty there. And I doubt that, no matter what, anyone could make an entire map detailed enough to match the vanilla map. So no go for me! I wish they had taken that effort and put it into actual content

First off, how can you even suggest more paid dlc? Microtransactions are the bane of modern games industry and should be prohibited entirely! Second, I can sum up all of your playgrounds points very simply: make Grounded 2 have a procedurally generated map. 7 Days to Die is infinitely repayable because it's a brand new world to explore every new save you make. Lastly, the thing I love most about grounded is that it doesn't have a standard xp level up system, instead you improve by acquiring new equipment and collecting hidden items.....just like the games in the 80s/90s, the time period that grounded is set in.

I wish better creatures like snakes were added and you use bombs to crack its hide and you could use the sknake shaces to make armor and a snakes venom for a club weapon and the infected snake you summon the other infected mods to crack its shell and make mint bombs
