There are 7 billion people in the world not everyone’s going to like you, but not everyone’s going to hate you. Most insecurities men and women have the opposite gender doesn’t even care. Most woman don’t care about height or money and most men don’t care about hair or weight. Some people are just jerks, but that’s always gonna be the case just remember somebody likes you for just the way you are and there’s so much different types of people.

I knew height would be on this list because it's a constant conversation I have with my guy friends & I know there's a double standard. But I disagree that it's totally socially acceptable for a girl to be tall. Some guys I know who are average height find it pretty awkward to date a girl taller than them. But, on the same note, I'm a girl who finds it awkward to date a guy who's shorter than me. So, 🤦🏼♀️

Andrew, you've also validated that life is hard, when we have financial problems, all of us feel insecure. I can understand that. I can also understand men want to be the provider, have the money to treat you right and like a lady...no McDonald's, a nice restaurant. Some men, feel less of a man when the woman pays. I don't mind paying sometimes, when I can, it shows support of the relationship. Treating your guy is a nice thing to do. Thanks again for this video. Socially acceptable for women to be really tall or really short? I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one, coming from personal experience. I love my height, but it took me a long time to get here, and I am aware that many people don't like it - and they are always quick to share their opinion. I think all women should love the height they have and I myself think all heights are beautiful, but I don't think it's quite realistic to say that society has reached that point, yet.

First timer here & I just need to comment. Firstly, THANK YOU for making this video! 👌 It’s greatly appreciated! It helps to make us women more aware of what guys go through and even think. Secondly, even though you said that you’re not ‘the guy’ from the movie, being HONEST, GENUINE and your ability to be VULNERABLE (which comes across in this video are ALL STRENGTHS) and even when you ‘TALK A LOT’ as you describe it, are all quite charming qualities to have and makes me (& I’m sure other ladies out there) smile 🙂 Please don’t put yourself down or compare yourself to other guys, God made you unique! Just BE the BEST VERSION OF YOU & when the time is right, the lady who is the perfect fit for you, WANTS to marry you & who you also WANT to marry will come along! You can have the ‘LIFELONG’ marriage once you both continue to work at it! Being a child of divorced parents doesn’t have to define your marital destiny! A ‘big’ 👍🏻 for this video!

I’m so glad someone made this video because it’s an important topic that isn’t discussed enough. Because women are more open about discussing their insecurities, there’s more awareness of them, but men suffer from just as many insecurities due to gender stereotypes and expectations as women. Honestly, it’s sad that it’s 2018 and we still haven’t outgrown those gender stereotypical mindsets that all men should be able to fix things and provide for his partner/family etc. People are people regardless of their gender and we’re all different and basically just trying to figure out where we’re going and what we’re doing with our lives. It’s kinda crazy how much societal pressures can impact on a person so it’s always good to speak out against these things and raise awareness of them.

For me, sometimes I dont even have to be upset but I'll start crying from guilt or shame or something and then I'll ball my eyes out then be fine, or other times if people are concerned for me then it worries me and my eyes get watery and I get psychosomatic pain in my throat. Heck sometimes I'll laugh and it makes me cry, wow I cry alot. I actually life crying because it makes me feel human again and less stiff, like greasing up a rusty machine. It makes me emotional and brings me peace, it's pretty much like an emotional stabilizer for me. The actually contain hormones that make you happier! 😁

I feel a lot of those same insecurities as well even being a women and but also being 24. Most of what you talked about, I feel has really hit me like a title wave recently cause I'm 25 in 6 months. More single than I would like to be lol I'm basically starting my life over again at 25 While I'm doing something that I love, the fact that I'm not where I thought I would be, scares me a little. I've been obsessing over losing weight a lot more. I'm working out 7 days a week mostly eating fruits and vegetables but I still feel like if & when I gain anything back, I'm some how failing. Almost like my whole future depends on it. I don't really talk to anyone about it cause my friends have their own lives, great jobs husbands and kids. I don't want them to worry about me or even feel bad for me cause I'm not giving up. I'm figuring it out and so are you. I think you're pretty fucking great! Insecurities and all! I wish I could give you a hug and tell you that your doing great! Even though it might sound cliché, it's so true! I truly 100% believe in you! Though your path is different, I know you, you're a fighter with a big beautiful heart to match! You're going to get everything you dreamed of and more Andrew! I can promise you that! ❤️ Ps. Thank you for making this one. I've felt pretty alone and kinda like a freak worrying about all of this stuff as well. It's nice to know it's normal and that I'm not the only one. Don't give up 💙

I think you are the perfect guy who I would definitely want to date, possibly get in to a relationship and maybe consider marriage, you have a great personality (that is the main thing I go for in a guy) you have great looks (which is a bonus in my books), to me money isn't anything a romantic meal picnic in the back garden means more to me than an expensive meal at a restaurant that costs a fortune, giving me a jacket when I'm cold whilst out on a date, picking up my favourite food when I'm not well just the small little thoughtful things from a guy just melts my heart, a relationship though works both ways and I would do things that would make him happy, to feel better when he isn't well etc to help him, I hope you find someone who is perfect for you where you inspire each other, help other become better people, helping each other achieve your dreams and hopes and stand by each other through thick and thin, through the good and the bad, that is what I want in a relationship, yet I'm different from most women, I have an old soul, I'm unique, I have also some health issues which put pretty much every guy off me, if they just got to know me then they would see me and not the brain injury or the weirdness, plus we would never date as you live in Canada and I live all the way in the UK, I hope you have a happy future, take care, Siobhan :)

Are guys really insecure about being single? I feel like they're more insecure about not being a big enough player. Which is dumb. Because honestly, it is WAY easier for a woman to get a date than it is for a man to get a date... So if we want to turn this into a competition, yeah, women could easily get laid more than a guy ever could.

The whole child of divorce part where you’re insecure about someone wanting to marry you or if you even really believe in love is not just exclusive to guys (although obviously a lot of these can apply to all genders). I for one have settled on the aspect that I fully expect to never get married or have kids, and I’m not sure how much of that is due to me not trusting myself to find someone who loves me that much or how much is me actually not wanting that kind of life. Good video man, I’ve missed seeing you around 👌

I have an appreciation for your content. Truthfully speaking however, many of society’s expectations are rooted in Biology. It is important to make this distinction because it makes many people seem like dicks for having natural inclinations. Women tend towards more emotionality to anticipate the needs of our infants. Men on average, tend to express less emotionality because a resilient mind is necessary to protect a family.

Takes more strength for a man to cry then to block their sadness with anger! U mentioned it being ok for girls to b short or tall BUT there was/(is?) a stigma on both short & tall(albeit more so on tall).I'm in complete agreement with the whole body image thing! I believe a lot of mine has to do with BDD(BodyDismorficDisorder)...I used to weigh 386lbs & despite losing 206lbs in my mind I'm still just as big as I was. To the point I still, years later, am shocked by my reflection more often than not!

Aw, don't tell yourself that! I think you're charming. Why else would I watch 17 videos in the last hour? : ) You know, some girls think that a little bit of awkwardness is cute. And I don't think a lot of girls really like guys that are too muscular, just some tone and you're fine. Finally, you are still taller than a majority of the female population, girls don't care as much as men think. We like good personalities. Humor is very important for most girls and I have laughed a lot over the last hour. Take my advice, if whoever is on these videos (which i'm sure is the real you) is perfect for a nice girl. Got it? 8:16 This really hurts. I littaraly started to cry. I'm sorry you guys. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Feeling that way. I'm sensitive to it, when my guy friends go through this kind of paradox, I can feel it. I never want my boyfriend or guy friends to feel this way. It's scary because society is trying to change who you are. It's a bad place to feel stuck. I don't know about how other girls feel but, in my personal feelings. When my boyfriend or guy friends dont express or communicate. I get desperate. My mouth feels numb like whatever I say will only make things worse. I feel like I'm talking too much that maybe it's a turn off. Look. The truth is It's an insecurity but, The only way you can be yourself and express yourself, is when you know a girl really cares. Honestly. If you know a girl like that , trust me you can let it all out with her. I know not all people are perfect. But if someone really shows they care? Don't feel bad about expressing yourself to her. When a guy tells me about the things that make him feel insecure and expresses how they feel, even when it has something to do with something I might be doing, I feel loved. And I appreciate it so much. 5:46 Also I love it when a guy gets comfortable around me, I don't mind if you are goofy. It's cute. Really really cute!

It's so weird listening to this because if I like a guy, none of that stuff will matter. This is good perspective. We are all sometimes too much in our heads. Let's live and enjoy more instead! ❤

I agree with that that is messed up that the guy's insecurities feels for some people socialy unacsepteble. In my opinion the hight, weight or anything like that don't matter.

Guy here, I resonate SO HARD will all of these except the height one. I'm pretty confident about my height at 5'11" at least. But everything else... it hits me right on the head. Women listening, these really are some of our biggest insecurities... I spend 3/4 of my life agonizing over these damn things.

I think it’s crazy how hard it is for guys to cry. it is very liberating (specially if you’ve been bottling something up or get a sudden crazy wave of feelings) and you shouldn’t ever feel like it’s not manly or something like that

AQ - I think you are my dream guy? I'm really into your hair and sarcasm ... and the fact that you like girls who switch into accents. In one of your videos (I've been watching your videos nonstop for the past 24 hours, you're totes welcome) you said a girl randomly switching into different accents was just the most adorable thing and like dating many different girls at once... so that it something that I naturally do and used to be insecure about when I was younger. Now, I find it a completely endearing quality to my very vastly unique and ever growing magical personality :)

Honestly...I always asked myself what guys could possibly be insecure about ? I mean , they don't have to wear makeup , fix their hair , and all this other shit girls go through ....I'm actually surprised they go through just as much! .... thanks for this video

I loved reading the comments here. The video is awesome. Thanks for sharing those insecurities. We do have those too. Maybe that sounds weird, but all of them. Some may be directed in another way, from example not knowing to fix a car, but doing things like cleaning and cookong and such things. Anddddd, we all have insecurities. It is just a matter of having the courage to admit/accept them or not.

Thanks for sharing. Charming and all of that is so over rated and not what I value. A real connection is so much greater.

Andrew, not to take away from you..I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT MONEY (I get hungry sometimes, and THERE IS NO MONEY to eat..but to ask people...SO EMBARRASSING! TO ME THAT IS THE WORST THING!) Also, I DO NOT want to be skinny...i do NOT wish to be "fat" again ( I LOST 200 POUNDS) but I WANT TO BE STRONG! so now, I box DAILY and run, and sit ups ( so i dont have skinny fat thing!) and DRINK A PROTEIN SHAKE! I love you Andrew!! DO YOU!! DO NOT LET OTHERS' CRAPPY OPINIONS POISON YOU!! YOU ARE WORTH IT!!

I never really thought about guys being torn between being sensitive (like what girls want from them, and then the world sometimes thinking men should be strong and not show their feelings. I think it takes a strong man to express his feelings, because he is taking a chance of being rejected if they are vulnerable.

I’ve honestly been into literally all different types of body types for guys... honestly what’s gets me to like the guys is their personality

Honestly, I am very tall and I just feel awkward in the company of a shorter man, in terms of a couple. As friends - I have no problem. I don't care about any of the rest of the things you've mentioned as insecurities, but height is a must have! The frustrating thing is, that as much as you believe that it's ok for a girl to be tall, I'd like to say from personal experience that most tall guys like short "pocket size" girls...

I think all guys have body insecurities. I’m actually in great shape right now, but with comes the expectation that I must stay like that, and I still think I’m to fat or skinny sometimes.

Insecurites that result from psychological and physical abuse from a woman, former wife will keep a man from pursuing a serious relationship with you. I have a lot of patience. And, I love him very much. I'm supportive and loving. He's my ex from 30 years ago and we've found each other again. We have a strong friendship, where I think a relationship should start from. Having domestic violence in my former marriage, gives me the tools to be extra patient and caring. Thank you for this video. I've subscribed to your channel. Love the list you described here. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more videos. Please make some videos on the shift from friends with benefits to a relationship. I like your video, Are you more than friends? Thank you. I enjoyed it very much. And, yes my guy and her more than friends. Thanks for your validations.💙

Hey Andrew! There's lots that I wanna say, so I really hope you read this!!. A few months ago I was struggling with some feelings that I had for a guy...he's older than me by like 5 1/2 years...and I was really hoping that he's be my first bf... (I'm 20 now, but I was 19 when this all went down). I felt insecure about the age gap first of all, and the fact that I'd never dated. Plus I'm a really small person. Like, REALLY small. I'm 5' 2" and have a good ole classic 'baby face'. I was getting so frazzled because I was contemplating on whether or not I should make the first move. And just as I got up the courage to tell the guy, he tells me that he was accepted into the navy!!!! 😭😭 it tore my heart out, because after that, I felt like there would be no reason to even try anything. And of course, nothing happened between us. Regardless, he's gone, I'm home, and I'm healing. 😄 what I wanted to say was, a few months ago, I started watching your videos, and I've subscribed really quickly. Idk how or why, but I found myself turning to you when I needed some advice or sort of confirmation as to 'why does he act this way', because your videos are always so helpful! In the end, I realized that you're a true gem, and if there's one thing that is always constant in your videos, it's your smile. 😊 legit you have such a sexy smile that it makes me blush like a 13-year-old having her first crush! 😃😃😆 I know that all people have insecurities, whether they admit it or not. You're a really great role model, and such a brave person to be able to actually open up and share your thoughts and insecurities with us. That's what I call a true man!! Like seriously, you're bf material. 💖💖 and don't get me started on your eyes! 😍😍 i love how they sparkle when you have that quirky smile of yours!! 😆😆 Don't tell me that you're not charming, cuz boy, you're owning the charm!!! And if there's one thing I'd want you to know, it's that, all of the qualities you see in other guys that you might not have....listen to me. EMBRACE IT! You have YOUR OWN qualities that make you so damn perfect and charming. There was a quote I read a while back, it goes; "Always be yourself, no one can tell you you're doing it wrong." And that should be a universal motto, because how boring would it be if we were all the same?? So be you Andrew, we wouldn't love you for who you are if you were someone else!!! 😚😚💖💖💖💖 oh and can I just say that you are so fine! Like you're perfect! Love you, and thank you for just being you. For all of your advice and time you spend making your videos. For BEING ANDREW QUO MAN!!! We love you! 💖💖💖💖💖💖 Sincerely, ~Your adoring subscribers! ♡♡♡
