Yeah I had a low tolerance for the first one when I was still playing Yugioh. One dude tried that at a regionals with me and I folded his shit back onto itself, he tried acting all appalled and without missing a beat I was like "Don't cover my side douche, be lucky I didn't throw your crap on the floor. As for the others, there was people like that back in the day, early 2000's, when I was full in. Had rule sharks try to get me DQ'd for my Horus Level 8, my Ocean deck and especially my Gladiator Beasts. The funniest is when I made a "Pro" rage waste his entire hand of spells when I had Horus 8 out on the field.

@YugiNoNo: the judge was incorrect with the rulling in that case, I read Magical Melldown, and it says it prevent the negation of the activation of card and effect that does a fusion, Ash blossom does not negated activation, it only negated effect of what his listed on ash blossom so Ash blossom was a legal play in that case. Turing your hat can be offensive in some country. and it will also prevent card from being activated when the fusion monster his succefully summoned, but only for that window at that point, once that window his gone, that prevent activating his also gone.

Magical meltdown says that the ACTIVATION of cards and effects that involve fusion smmng can't be negated, but you can ash shaddol fusion because it negates the effect, not the activation.

So the story happened to guy I went to locals with. He was playing a game and called a judge. The judge gave a bad ruling and when he appealed, the Head Judge said he agreed with whatever the other judge said. The Guy turns his hat around and the Head Judge gave him a game loss for "Aggressive moves" then when he tried to dispute it, he was given a game loss. 2 rounds later, the head judge walked over to his table and DQ'd him because others from locals were talking about what happened
