another tip i found helpful during my first year was dont buy your textbooks right away!! i bought a couple of textbooks and genuinely used 2 of them -_- waste of money

It's like a check that financial aid send back. I'm not 100% why they do it, but you're supposed to save that money to pay back the loans you take out. It all depends on your personal financial aid. You can always do more research on the internet and to make sure to ask as many questions as possible when concerning your financial aid.
