You can get free dental care from the College of Dentistry, but I warn y'all DONT DO IT. They had a sophomore fill a cavity I had in the back of my mouth, and they screwed it up BAD - the filling literally fell out that afternoon. They brought me back, had a different sophomore try to fix it and they made it WORSE. Finally, they had to just get the observing professor fix it, but because it was toward closing of the office for the day she totally rushed it. I haven't been able to chew on the left side for like a year 😭 Not to mention the stress they put me through trying to say I'd have to pay them back because I graduated by the third time I came back for them to fix it. When I threatened them because THEY screwed up, they backed off and said it would be free. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR with them smh

The key to finding your social circle at a pwi/college in general is go to as many events as possible! Don’t stay in your room ESPECIALLY as a freshman, that’s when you’ll meet all your friends! I joined a sorority and got involved with organizations on campus. So I wouldn’t say it’s hard, I would just say you’ll get out of it whatever you put in!
