10 Things I wish I knew before moving to Charlotte, NC

I learned about CATS/Charlotte public transportation the hard way after moving here in December. Thought I could use it somewhat like the DC Metro but the joke was on me. It is cheap and the rail runs on time but the route is limited. The buses go pretty much everywhere but are not reliable for your commute, they never run on time. Fortunately, I enjoy walking so everyday errands in the Uptown/Wesley Heights area are easy.
