I never understood why the "back" slot has always been exclusively used for nothing other than capes. So much could be used there. Backpacks, satchels, kegs, satellite dishes, sheathes, wings, some kind of glowy aura things, scarves, extra spikes, a little saddle for your pet, extra weapons, updated cat models, fruit baskets, a cage with a tiny abomination in it, a deer pelt, a parrot on your shoulder, a bag of gold, a rack of spears, a rack of ribs, freaking anything could go in that slot man, even capes!

What i also want to see: - Sub-races when creating a character (Dark Iron /Wildhammer Dwarf, Ma'ghar orc etc) - Removed content restored -> Removed raids like ZG (and their mounts), Wrathgate Questline continuation in WotLK etc - Cross-Faction raiding. Seeing how all raids are usually against a higher power (Legion, Scourge etc), makes no sense for Alliance/Horde to assault said raid alone.

IDK why blizzard didn't implement it yet, because lore wise it's always "Heroes of Azeroth" to take down a raid. (even in ICC, where we shoot the other faction down from the sky, they come back and join forces against final bosses.)

Yo Nix give this a gander! (in no particular order) 1: Enhanced professions: Remove primary and secondary professions and allow players to do all of them rather than just picking 2. Make the system more like in Runescape. Also add way more professions. 2: Graphical revamp for old zones, use newer assets to make them look better. The trees in old zones for example look really bad. 3: Quests vs Missions. Rename the current quests missions and add real quests. Another idea from runescape, the quests in that game were not a levelling mechanic, they were a challenge that offered rewards at the end but you needed to actually use your brain. Real quests. These quests could take you to any continent in azeroth or beyond. 4: City sieges. Events on the calendar that are realm wide, you sign up to the siege and for the next weeks your side will be in preparation for the attack. You'll see the defenders side putting up palisades and defences and the attackers setting up siege equipment. If the attackers win they control the city for the next month before enemy reinforcements arrives. This will force players to use other cities while one of them is occupied. You could use your professions to assist the npcs attacking along side you. 5: A bounty hunter open world pvp system. You sign up via group finder, you will be assigned a target to kill. Other players who sign up will be assigned targets, but the system will choose players that have targets already before it picks target less players. This means even though you're hunting a player, you'll be hunted by one as well. On a pvp server you're always eligible to be a target, on a normal server you have sign up to become eligible as a target. 6: One handed guns: flintlock pistols would be really cool, give rogues the option to use them as well as an off hand weapon. 7: Sub-factions, you mentioned sub-races but I'd like to add factions as well. Some races don't have ''sub-races'', I'd like to play a human from stromguarde for example. Those are all the ideas I can think of right now that I've thought of in the past.

I'd like to see Blizzard adding more standing positions.For example if you're playing a male orc warrior, you wouldn't want him to look like an old granny, struggling not to break her back.You'd rather look tall and proud like Thrall's current model.Or maybe bring more seriousness to the edgier classes like rogues, demon hunters, death knights and in the same time make them look somewhat cockier while standing up.Adding more facial expressions is also an idea, for example, if you want to make your worgen look more ferocious, or you just want to play around with your imagination.Things like these could really bring more depth to the characters you make for RP and your characters in general.I'd gladly spend a whole day playing around and creating different characters if Blizz added such features to the game.(sorry if my grammar is incorrect, or my english bad) :D

Pretty sure we are getting reworked zones next xpac or the one after. If you look at WoD and Legion you can see that the zone assets and textures can easily be applied to the zones. They might need a little recolor, but the assets pretty much all fit. I thought about taking pics of every zone in vanilla WoW and then matching them to the zones from WoD and Legion with Photoshop recolors to show this, but then I was like, "Nah. I'd rather just stop playing if I am so bored I want to take screenshots of in game trees."

Oh, and develop Ironforge. Create more depths and dungeons, maybe even a more Mines of Moria-type danger in the depths beneath Ironforge. Getting Ironforge to really be fleshed out into a huge, deep complex, like the Grand Halls of Thrain under Lonely Mountain and the Mines of Moria. Connections to the entrances at the airfield and the one by the farms above Menethil. Also in a future expansion, a Lake Town type city. 'Twould be fun.

I know this video is like 4 years old. But none the less, it did get me thinking. Something I'd like to see on the immersion aspect of the game, would be like an 'Adventurer's Kit'. You'd get it at like level 5 or 10 before you leave you main starting area. It would include things like x10 food x10 water, A campfire kit which would include the ability to stay warm and cook for yourself if you've picked up fish or meat along the way, and a the ability to pitch a tent from wood planks and cloth or wool which you could use as a quick save in case you died while out gathering supplies, you'd spawn back at your tent. I feel like that would add a whole list of RP and immersion inspired game play and just add a little more realism to the fact your character is out and about in forests, mountains, deserts, and swamps for hours and hours a day from sun up to sun down. It'd make sense to have a kit with you that allowed you to make your own rest spots and temporary inns for yourself.

It's a small thing, but as a roleplayer I would like to be able to learn the opposite faction's language. And while we're at it, being able to form a neutral guild, with characters from both factions. Being able to creat a cross-faction group and doing certain quests/dungeons/raids together Or something even better for roleplayers, having a neutral faction which you could join, so you can visit both factions' capitals without having to deal with the guards. Maybe there could be different neutral factions available depending of you class/race . Joining a neutral faction would banish you from any pvp related activity though, to prevent everyone joining a neutral faction and having undeads or gnomes trolling everywhere in respectively stormwind or orgrimmar.

There was a necklace that was removed from game. Taking place from Vanilla to BC, it was the only necklace in game that had an actual model when you equip it. The item looked like a an orb that glows as it hangs from the character's neck.

I would love to see more freedom in the game, like bigger zones, and more choice in questing (not as lineair as in legion) by implementing more zones. With all the rumors of south seas becoming the New expansion, I think this is a great oppertunity for blizzard to make loads of islands and zones to explore, with a lot of sea between them, and make those islands feel big and impressive. I would love to see an suramar city like questing hub in kul tiras stile (but bigger, and not having guards always say Omg you're an illusion what are You hiding)

I really think that instead of a guild hall, we could have guild housing. It could be like a little village where people of a certain rank in your guild could make a house or a major city where a lot of people in the guild could make one. It could really bring in guild interaction and it could encourage players to try to interact with the guild other than just for raiding and dungeons.

Not only should they revamp the lower level content, but they should bring the legion leveling system to all of azeroth. You'd still need to hit certain levels before reaching areas such as the broken isles, the outlands, or draenor, but you'd be able to go back to duskwood after killing Gul'dan. It would make the game so much more emmersive if we could take time to learn the games lore without halting our character improvement and level ups. Plus it would really just add hundreds of more hours into the game that wouldn't be quite as boring and repetitive.

nah medivh was corrupted when her mother intentionally trasnfered her powers to him, with sargeras avatar's soul in the powers, defeating medivh means the avatar's soul returned to it's physic form, which is the avatar in ToS if i'm not wrong

Order hall based leveling that I would love to see. Like you have a lvl 10 paladin , then a silver hand knight rides up to you and recruits you as a squire. You'd get a campaign where you become a paragon of the light or something like this. At the end of it , you get the title of Highlord and you could start to level up in the new expansion. But If you were a mage then there would be a powerfull archmage , who would take you as an apprentice or something like that.

- Scenarios or Quest for pre-expansion patch content. - Graphical changes based on achievement and lvl. (Example: your lvl 80 and so in the Cat expansion I want Deathwing claws on Stormwind. Stuff like that that immerses you in current lvl content.) - Anything that will try to correct the lore in game so you feel like lore wise you are playing from vanilla to current content and not Cat to current content.

Talking about guild halls, imagine a guild hall where you can watch th replay of every first-downs by your guild, for example by interacting with the head/trophy from said boss displayed in the hall. I think that would be pretty epic!

I would really like the guild halls, something that can carry over to each expansion. Each guild hall could have class specific areas that can act like the class hall but just something you can use as a guild to update the entirety of each expansion and will show your past victories in each expansion.

Nope, none of this (or "Yes! all of this!" depending on how you look at it), because~ End the game and bring us World of Warcraft 2. Just pull a FFXIV 1.0 and remake the game. Let some unstoppable being like Sargeras rain destruction upon Azeroth, reforging the entire world as we know it in a completely new and updated engine. I feel this is needed because they are clearly unable to create diversity in terms of content, it's all the same.

I think wow should have a housing system like in Everquest 2. You can get different items for your house from questing, crafting and dungeons. The best part is if you were to take down a boss you will get a special house item like a dragon's head impaled on a harpoon. I think it would be awesome.

I'd very much like a revamp to how mounts work, in terms of mounted animations. Right now, it looks just like your character is pasted on the back of those animals like a doll and then does a simple animation loop every few seconds. There is absolutely no feedback or feeling of being mounted. The mount moves, the player does nothing on its back. This is the main reason I ended up loving playing a worgen, because with the running wild ability, you actually feel like it's you covering that distance... even though it looks kinda clunky. What I'd love is reactions. Like the head tilt, have the player's body tilt in the mount's seat as you fly or run along sloping terrain, and shift as you turn etc. I know this probably won't happen because it'll be hard to get right and most people wouldn't notice it, but I'd still love it.

I would like WoW2, new engine, new setting; either after the war with the legion or a prequel to World of Warcraft. I know people will say well play Warcraft then but a lot of new people will not be able to play the original games, so making all 3 into an MMO would be awesome. Or brand new world and setting, either way I would like WoW2.

yeh, mind-blowing that Blizzard use an 15 old engine and the game has more system requirements than the Dark Souls III. WTF? Blizz should create a new engine or use one of the coolest (for example unreal, cryengine). Than the second very important thing the HEADBOX! Annoying... you're melee attacking the boss from 20 yard distance! Blizzard have to learn more and more.

oh and, the druid deer travel forms really need updating. they literally did update them in MoP, but only used the models as wild deer roaming around. they have swirl designs on their backs and everything. just scoot it over to the druids!! why is that so hard? and speaking of druid deer, glyph of the doe can't do some animations, such as /kneel. i was really upset when i found this out because i like to /kneel before someone jumps on my back

My two biggest wishes: To see the Stromgarde faction restored and to get them as rep grind faction. I want the Stromgarde tabard and I want stromic gear, a warhorse of Strom even. I think that they have made lots of changes that can't be revoked and instead of continuing to grow the world and make it even more of a grind for newer players to get into the game they should just make, World of Warcraft 2. that way they could up the tech and make the game more of an upgrade and avoid the "this is too much of a change! this isn't wow!" out cry (tho that will no doubt happen, but to a lesser degree... i think.).

One thing I was thinking today: On demand aucions. Many times I went to the auction house looking for an item and there was none listed, what if we had a system where you could post itens you wish to buy, and the price wich you are willing to pay for it? So people could just look at the "on demand" tab at the auction house and immediatelly sell their stuff. Another thing I've been thinking since they added weekly events, the calendar couls use some revamping, it gets crammed too easily sometimes, with all the events,mini holidays, raid openings and guild events.

What's the point? Plenty of great servers out there which you can play for free. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard made a few...."improvements".....to those legacy servers

Thyralon I am not a fan any longer of the grinding game, so I am not a fan of the old WoW. But the truth here is - the game was INDEED DIFFERENT than what it is now! If people enjoy grinding, and RPing, then why not give them the "toys". I personally cant understand why blizzard acts as if people will start liking more the old game. Why not give a try to 1 realm of vanilla/TBC(since they are basically the same, till WotLK was the start of the changes)? Lets face another truth also. WoW this days is literally suitable for single player experience! You basically play Diablo 2 - where you just power level for 1-2 days, and you grind for the max(whichever expansion is now) level gear. I personally dont even see why people pay for servers any more! You can literally use skype for the chat experience you waste your money on. Blizzard keep babbling about "how expensive it is to keep a server, and you just finance the server with out giving them any profit", but they still refuse the release a single player version. My cousin(who literally stood long with the game after WotLK) literally felt like ripped off as if he was "renting" the single player game! Blizzard finally got even his limit.

7:04 This. Absolutely this. I want to go back to Northrend and see all the stuff that has changed since Bolvar became the lich king. I want to see more development with the scourge and the ebon blade, and how they might conflict with Sylvanas since they both can raise the dead. Maybe there would be an undead civil war? I really enjoyed WOTLK, and it would be great to have another expansion that takes place on Northrend with updated graphics and upgraded game content.

Legion did introduce something that could improve leveling. Level scaling. Applying this to all the zones would eliminate the "out-level a zone before actually finishing it" problem that plagues leveling right now at least.

A "pause" extension with redesign of the Azeroth areas and old extensions, related to the sub-race and the redesign of the personalization of characters, and in scenario, not a big enemy but full of stories In parallel (the lich king, revalorisation of Outland etc.)

honestly, i would like to have a story mode in which u can play the whole wow storyline from vanilla to legion (or whatever the xpac is) with videos and so on. chronologically from vanilla (with the latest vanilla patch and everything that was included in vanilla, solving the legacy server problem) to tbc, wtolk and so on. with an ingame tab in which u can rewatch the story of each zone and race and immerse yourself way more into the lore. Plus a complete overhaul of the original level 60 zones (plus adding the starting zones of the belfs and draenei) would be great (thus one would have to progress from vanilla to cata to Xyz learning more about the history and so on of a place/ ppl etc)

IMO, it would be easy to implement the Necromancer in two ways. 1. Revamp the Unholy DK into a true Necromancer spec. Ranged plate DPS caster that uses a buff "tank" minion like an Abomination, can summon multiple supporting undead minions, and blasts from afar with disease/poison/darkness spells and life drains. Add some appropriate plate robe transmogs that reflect what a Necromancer would wear. 2. Create a "Glyph of the Scourge" for the Affliction Warlock. Demon pets are replaced with undead pets, fel based spells are changed into blue Scourge-themed spells, the Demonic Gateway is turned into a Bone Gateway, etc etc. Maybe a couple more thematic spells can be added as part of the package. I don't feel that you can really make a separate Necromancer class without taking too much from the Unholy DK and Affliction Warlock, but I think the two ways above can make one of them already resemble a Necromancer pretty well.

Bard class. Make it like the priest, where it's mainly a healer spec, but it has dps potential. For small stuffs, better mail mogs in general, and the ability to hide your gloves and bracers.

I think a good example of player housing in wow is a custom server called RPheaven or something like that. It allows players to spawn in ingame assets and basically build as they desire. I've seen some amazing things build there.

I would love to see cities/zones that can be contested. Like weekly there is an open world event where the ruling fraction hadto protect the city from the invaders and if they fail to do so then the npc's of the city would be changed. There could be high level quest chains is said cities of which's quest parts you could only do once a week and when you finished you would get high end gears(i mean epic / legendary level stuff)

As a person who's mains a warlock I was hoping legion...a demon themed expansion would finally give us the ability to take or enslave different demons to replace our current models. Like certain demons would fall into certain categories, but I mean there are so many different felguard,succubui,doomguard and voidwalker models out there anymore it would be nice to find one I like and use that as my current demon skin.

just like invasion points they can make siege of capital cities. a scenario sort of thing in which selected horde players will que to attack one of alliance capital city and selected alliance players will be qued to defend it. it could happen once a week and during siege the capital city will not be accessible to low level players, or they can enter on their own risk.

RIFT has an awesome outfit system called a wardrobe. you pay gold to unlock slots and then you can create outfits that you can change into instantly (when out of combat) they are NOT tied to your gear. I would love to have a 'healing" look and a "bad ass" DPS look without having to farm for, and carry 2-3 sets of gear in my bags {heals,dps & pvp). [yes I know there are stat differences] I have 10 outfits on a rift toon and its fun to go raiding in a swimsuit, or wear arctic furs for the cold zones or a pumpkin headed halloween costume without having to go re-transmoging all the damn time.

I'd like to see 3 things: 1: Scaleable content, so everything could be scaled up but not down, it would be nice to go back and do some classic quests on your 83 alt for example or even skip Burning Crusade when leveling if you want. 2. - Some form of F2p and keep subscription. Last content expansion, Raids, Dungeons, transmog, Arenas, Battlegrounds could be unavalable but you could play the game up to previous expansion, that would probably bring more players and they could actually see people doing pvp and pve and decide if they want to buy the game. 3. - Maybe. Some sort of hardcore/realistic realms, where you can't access next expansion untill you finish current expansion's raids but you would get faster leveling with maybe some survival features added.

Hidden cave systems with treasure earn you gold and archaeology relics. Some hidden lore in locations dedicated to Dev or dead players that were known to play the game like a hidden tune or catacombs of unknown champions that came before you. Or maybe an ancient Boneyard full of dragon Corpses. These areas could be placed inside of the unused zones in World of Warcraft vanilla zones that still need a extra Touch of goodness to drive home some of the more extensive lore.

How I feel is that guild should be made into communities like if you have ever watched farytale. The guild house will have a whole bunch of tasks with rewards. You join and you make your own little groups with your friends withing the guild and you join up with other groups in the whole guild and work for everyone. The groups can pick the one task they want to do (let's say one task per group/person per day) if the complete the task they will get whatever reward in that group and the whole guild may get some low xp. The amount of task and the guild completes can reward them with items and cool hpuse items

To the character customization, I'd also like to be able to choose if my character's hair would be seen under a helmet or hoods and other hats which makes the hair short. I rarely use helmets on my transmogs, because I want my character's hair to be seen. It may look weird with some hats, but perhaps blizz could also make all the hairstyles work with all the hats somehow IF they have enough free time and patience for that. :')

I love watching your videos on these types of things because I love the ideas you have for the game. On top of many things in your list, I'd like to see an option to change armor color. I know we get multiple skins of most newer items now, but I'm talking about having pieces of it that can be changed without changing the rest of it. For example, maybe the rings around a belt could be changed without altering the rest of it, or maybe the buckle itself could be changed in both color and shape separately from the rest as well. Perhaps certain pieces of a pair of shoulder pads could be altered without changing the rest, thus evolving from the re-skin thing we have now. Maybe we could have the option of making shoulders asymmetrical. I could go on and on about other armor ideas I have, but that'd make this comment way too long, so I'll leave it at this.

I think it would be really cool and immersive if your whole player experience would use the phasing platform. For example, you help change something so dramatic in a zone that it doesn't look like what it first looked like when you entered it... for example - in the Plaguelands, you could help restore some parts of the zone to what it was (trees and foliage growing) or something like that. And maybe, implement daily quests to help restore the area even more and/or to repel left over baddies, etc. Now, if you're grouped with others who haven't done that zone yet, it would look like what it would initially look like prior to completing those zone quests. I'm sure there could be other things to implement and kinks to work out, but something like that. Also, I wish there were seasons. Way back when, they didn't even have changing weather, but they brought that element into the game eventually. Now, I wish they would bring in seasons. I would like to see Dun Morogh during the summer time or during harsh winters, etc. Also, I know it's an MMO, but I would like to be able to do dungeons and raids on my own with NPCs or something... the rewards could be not as great as if you were grouped up with real players, but I would like to just experience the lore and complete quests without depending on others and going at my own pace. Those NPCs that you encountered in WoD and Legion and so on could help you on those single player dungeons and raids. I remember you mentioned this in another video, but I wish they would bring in relationships, whether it be platonic, familial, or romantic relationships, that would make the game very immersive and enjoyable. So, something like what the Bioware games has. Also relating to Bioware, I wish our characters had voice overs and dialogue to choose from. But yes, all those other ideas I had been thinking about through the years, you've already stated here.

I'd like to see craftable legendary transmogs. Something to add to the artifact weapons could be a profession set of skins. How about a sheath for your Ashbringer or something involving bones to cover that undead sword your death knight has been carrying around. You could bring leatherworking to modify that gun or bow. Enchant a new staff. Also craftable gear that rivals raid armor. Having that one legendary in the major professions was nice and all but how about crafting a whole set of mythic level armor by doing mythic raids and such?
