all my friends and ex wife use to make fun of me saving original packaging etc. for almost every tool and electronics i bought. the first story about the boxes and accessories for the mac purchase made me smile. for me as a buyer and seller it shows that whomever owned it previously took care of it and anticipated handing over to another buyer in good shape, respecting the item.
