I hate all the hate that's been going to the new-ish voice actor for Kermit. You do realize that these extremely talented people have to voice and puppeteer at the same time, and that's not just something you can learn overnight. His voice isn't exactly like Steve's or Jim's but that's because he's not them. He's still doing a great job!

some say that kermit's signature voice was actually just his stage voice, he makes it a little higher than normal to appeal to the younger audience

Kermit's voice was higher because Steve Whitmire had a higher speaking voice as Kermit as opposed to Jim Henson who had a low speaking voice as Kermit. Matt Vogel's voice is just kind of there not being Jim and not exactly being Steve.

Ppl got a problem with his voice, and while i do got a problem with it, its also he makes kermit seem too nervous.. hes stuttering too much, and that makes kermit too bland. Kermit is the frontman for the muppets, and he only gets a frog in his throat (get it) when things get serious. Also yeah the voice. Theres too much bass and nasal blockage. Kermit is lighter and more in the back of the throat which makes it funnier when he gets angry and screams, which this one never does cuz this aint kermit 🤷‍♂️
