How many of us get our paycheck, and then in a week, it’s just . . . gone? I’ve so been there, you guys, and that’s why I wanted to spend a whole episode talking about 10 things to NOT do when you get your paycheck. (Believe me, I’ve done this stuff before, and I wish someone had told me this sooner.) Here’s how to avoid those money mistakes so you can start stacking some serious cash instead!

Hey, fam! I’m Anthony. I’m fired up about meeting you where you are in a real, relevant, and relatable way. Here on this KZbin channel, we’ll be having honest conversations about finding our authentic selves by living life based on spiritual, financial, and mental freedom. At the age of 19-homeless and deep in debt-I turned my life around by becoming debt-free, and I decided to spend the rest of my life helping people avoid the same money mistakes I made. Today, by the grace of God, that’s what I’m doing every day with AO Enterprise. You can rock with me on Instagram @AnthonyONeal or online at anthonyoneal.com.

You are in your 30s and the fact that you watching this type of videos in your 30s says you doing great. You have a real chance of becoming rich. I would encourage you to stop looking in the wrong places for advice. THINK!! they won't be there to know when thier advice goes south or do follow ups. Get yourself a financial adviser and say bye to speculative investing, if you do this long enough, you will have something to show for it.

I learned a lot financially by studying Chinese culture. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. The week before last christmas I was behind an elderly woman in line at the Dollar General store and all of her cards were declined - because we are responsible, I could step up and pay that bill. It was only $40, but when you have no money, $40 is the world to somebody else. I really hope things turned around for her. Depends. If one can find a temporary job, that 3-6 months stretches. Truthfully, some can make it on unemployment if they only have the 4 walls with no car payment to worry about.

It’s an ever evolving goal but I guess initially the aim is just to reach £1000/$1000. Once that goal has been achieved then aim for 3-6months worth of Life Expenses. However, once you have that figure then you’d likely be inspired to aim for a year’s worth🙌🏾 It will take everyone a different length of time depending on their circumstance and their starting point but we’ll get there if we’re intentional about it. Anyway, I need to go call Starbucks now and tell them “it’s not working out, that I think you’re great but I’m snowed in with work right now, it’s not you it’s me and that I just need to be by myself for a while”😂

I feel for you. New guys must realize the risks all these come with. You could lose everything and you could gain everything. It goes both ways. Secondly, what works for A must not necessarily work for B and you shouldn't be a bandwagon investor. Always make more thorough inquiries before putting your money somewhere or better still, get the services of a pro (that way, you give little room for error and get tailored investments). Made my first million earlier this year this way after a lot of trial and errors. Good luck!

I thank God that I was close to my grandparents growing up. My credit and financial outlook has thrived bearing the things they taught me in mind. My parents didn't uphold the same values very well but my husband and I have put the things you covered into practice (they are the basics, like you said) just listening to their advice. So grateful for the example they set.

Nice video. Preciate all you do. Real quick though. It took me 11 yrs to build up 13k in my 401k. I took out 11k a yr ago they charged me 2k for pulling out early, 2k of my hard earned money so i got 9k back took 2k from my personal account to make the 11k i needed for a downpayment on a rental property. I have a tenant in the property paying me 1,375 a month, subtract the $247 mortgage. I have made more in 1 yr with that 1 property than i have saved in 11yrs of 401k. Thats how you create generational wealth. Cash flow. Put your money to work not in jail. Again thanks for the content. God bless

I remember I wouldn't pay my credit cards- on purpose. Something in my head thought that they would just go away... lessons learned. I also remember I would overdraft my checking account ON PURPOSE with cashback 3-4 days before my paycheck because I ran out of money. 5-6 overdraft fees per paycheck were a normal thing, payday loans were a regular thing. I was in denial. Life isn't supposed to be like this, you guys!

I have my plan and now I'm just ready to tackle it. I told my son when he asked about taxes....I told him I'm going to be the first member of our family to be a multimillionaire. He then said well I'm going to be the youngest in my family to be a millionaire 😊 I love it. I am determined to be the first so he can be the youngest. Its all about knowledge and application which equals wisdom. I'm excited for his future and mine. Like I told him THIS YEAR IS OUR YEAR 2023 n ALSO THE YEAR HE WAS CANCER FREE!!!

Im a bank representative, and I agree with you about ppl cashing their checks at the store and going to Pay-Day Loans facilities for assistance. However, you never told ppl what they should do if they only know what they know. Ppl, allow your financial institution to give you small loans so that you do not have to get caught up in Pay-Day loan companies. FYI... a credit union is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS better than a bank. Become a member of your local credit union and take advantage of the benefits. As for cashing your check, allow it to be direct deposited into your Share Account (savings account) and that builds a relationship with your financial institution. They look at this as a connection and a source of recourse.
