Speaking of things to do - we will be there next week and I saw that they are having a huge outside concert at Schonbrunn Palace! But also on the same night they are having the "Long Night of Churches" - which also looks awesome! Would love anyone's opinion on these events. Signed up for your newsletter!

Schönbrunn Sommernachtskonzert is definitely magical and worth a visit! We will probably also try our luck this year. It's very popular and crowded, but magical.

Lovely video... full of ideas and options... there is a nice restaurant/cafè at the open river called wakeboard Lift, were a person can either enjoy watching or trying wakeboarding...

Thers also a zip sliding course located inside on the grounds of the public open air swimming pool area in kaisermühlen... a person calls makes a booking, and someone meets you at the entrance and takes you to the course, that runs under the trees along the river.

Just got here yesterday for a housesit for 2 weeks. Love the videos. I asked the person for whom I’m housesitting where I can go to escape the heat and he suggested the Alte Donau. Was a great escape!

I have a question about the public transport. I cant find the answer. I see that you can buy the tickets at the kiosks and Wiener Linien but nobody talks about the OBB app. So far I have been using only the OBB app, does it count too?

We have never used the öbb app for purchasing Vienna public transport tickets. We normally just use it for purchasing regional train tickets. For public transport in Vienna we use the WienMobil app!
