Love my locs, and they are way more easier than wearing my loose natural hair. I go to my loctician and get my roots interlocked every six weeks and wash once a week at home. My locs are small almost micro but a little larger.

Thank you so much for this video because so many people make it seem like there is little to no maintenance with locs. I learned so much from this video and it helped me to decide to keep on with my loose natural hair.

I loved this discussion! Thank you so much ladies💖! My locs will be one year in a few weeks and I started on waist length hair. I’m definitely learning a lot about locs and absolutely love them🥰!

Thank you for the information ladies. I'm regrowing my hair to one day begin my loc journey. I've learned a lot in 30 mins that I have my whole entire time on KZbin about LOC's and the maintenance that is involved. So again, thank you for this free 99, text book quality info.

Locs are lovely, but I really like my loose natural hair. This was interesting I didn't know there was so much upkeep but I knew it was more than I was willing to do.💜 I'm in Camille's area and hope to be able to sit in her chair at some point.

I love my 3 mo old baby locs and find the maintenance to be way easier than when I was a loose natural. They missed the biggest selling point…no detangling anymore! When I wash my locs at home, I spray on pureology leave in, add foam, put on my scarf and let it air dry. That’s it. When my hair feels dry in between washes I spray it w/rose water. Simple. Year 1 is the most maintenance but I still love it here!

Thank you so much for posting this ladies! One of the things I was grateful for during the early days of the pandemic was how low maintenance my wash and go with regular curly cut is. I thought about getting microlocs but my hard pause was the increase in visits to a professional 😩 But I LOVE the look

This was so helpful and sent to my sis with locs. I hope she can change it up based on this so it's more lightweight.

Thanks for a helpful video! During my consultation my loctician told me to use shampoo and water from now on! She warned against oils because of lint and buildup. I tried to be a low maintenance natural and know that locs will require more money because of visits to the loctitian for upkeep. It is a good trade off for me because styling and detngling feels more like a chore than self care in the last year. Also concerned about styling for work. I have been wearing buns too often at work and my edges are suffering! Sisterlocs will give me my natural texture I love, I can leave it alone as a style but also have versatility for updos, braid outs, etc. I have never been into the slicked back look mostly because it doesn't work for my texture so fuzzy look is fine with me😁. The only thing I might miss is loose waves on stretched natural hair but I haven't worn that style in months...few years because can't be bothered to style it!

Locs pulled out my edges about 10 yrs ago. I had to cut them out. I’m sure the maintenance methods have progressed since the palm roll days. I’ve seen some beautiful locs lately.

I had loose hair for 8 years and locs for 8 months. Locs is easier maintenance for me. So many tangles and low length retention and having bra strap length still my hair strength above my ears after 8 years. I was over lose hair
