Virgin is the best!! Agreed the no kids really changes the vibe for the better….. we felt so much more relaxed (we have a middle schooler & high schooler so we love kids, we just don’t enjoy being around a ton of misbehaved/unsupervised kids when trying to decompress on a “just the 2 of us” vacation;))

Love VV. The BEST part is no kids punching every elevator button, trashing the beverage stations, stealing from stateroom hosts carts, screaming in the halls, etc. I do realize that the problems on DCL and other lines involve maybe 10% of parents who believe that they are not responsible for their little darlings while on vacation, but those 10% ruin it for everyone else! Note that on VV, if you have Sea Rover status either by cruising twice during a certain time frame OR by a status match from another line, the premium internet is part of the perks package you'll get. The Sea Rover perks also include a $100 bar tab, which is in addition to any other free or paid bar tab! Virgin has the wonderful system where you turn on the "service" light by the door when you want your room done. That's how they come in when you are out. They also have someone "on call" for any additional needs that might come up. Even though service is scheduled once a day, you can always ask for extra towels or whatever else you might need.

Great to hear. With all the extras in other ships, it sounds like this could be affordable since you hardly would have any additional charges once onboard.

I really want to go on a cruise, but so far I don't have anyone to go with, and I just think it would be a lot more fun with company. Also would need to save up for it because I always spend my extra cash on the grandkids. I think it's time to do something for myself!

1:21 Just make friends while on the ship. I met great people travelling all over the world solo. There are single people of all ages travelling just enjoying life.

I love your content. I really want to cruise Virgin, I’m trying to convince my husband. We’ve cruised on the Queen Mary 2 and Norwegian, and liked the QM2 best. If we cruise Virgin I may post our impressions. We watch your Amtrak content too!

So, I question your comment about drinking the water from the tap- we have always been told on every cruise line we have cruised on that the water is drinkable. another question I have is- I use a scooter due to limited mobility, so wondering if Virgin would work for me or is it just young athlete people on board ?

Would you do a "chart" of the pros/cons of each of the ships you have sailed on this year? Love all your content! Makes me want to sell all my crap and get out of town!

I once was on a Virgin Voyage. The saying everywhere was """ 1210 rock this ship"""......I felt the rocking and upon unloading they needed to rename the ship

How does it work making the beds into the sectional for the day if the room steward only comes once? Did you figure out how to get it up/down yourselves?

Did you see many solo travelers?

I would love to try the thermal suite. Can you pay an up charge daily for that? Thanks.

Yes you can!

Love your videos but you said that you can't drink the tap water on some cruise ships, that is not true that water is not only desalinated but it is purified too. It is very good to drink, better than some bottled waters.
