I actually use the insert key function a bit. I have a ton of beatmaps and a shit computer so I have to process my beatmaps every week or so and it takes about 30 mins to process them. Using the insert key while you're processing beatmaps will still process them in the background but it will take less resources and mute the game so I can do other things while my maps are processing.

The Ins /bosskey is really useful for people who want to hide playing. For me, if i dont xomplete my homework, i cant play games, with bosskey/ins, i can just hit leftalt (my bosskey bind) to hide osu and make it look like im working +~+

I hate how ins closes osu. I use 4 and 5 on my key pad as click and del/ . as skip and 0/ ins as pause so when I pause sometime because I think my hands are on the wrong keys, which they aren't numlock is just on, it closes my game.
