Mechanical keyboard are bought not because of sound but because of feeling when you type. Proper o rings solve the sound problem but keep the feeling.

I'm not really a fan of optical switches for that price although I understand why they did it. That being said I'd probably consider picking it up for casual gaming or hybrid WFH family members who want the cool desk setup and the mech look but hate standard mechanical keyboard sounds and/or prefer the lower profile. The slider thing is neat. This is not a keyboard for mechanical keyboard fans and I respect what they did with this knowing I'm not the intended target market.
