It was a technological showcase for BMW and got many dividing reactions when it came out. Some people loved it and some people hated it, but everything wanted to talk about it. In this video, I will go over 10 things that you may not know about the BMW i3. We will discuss battery capacity and range anxiety and what the car is built from. Late to the party. One feature I discovered is the emergency brake releases when the car is in gear and you step on the accelerator but only if your seatbelt is on.

The steering wheel sensor strip is for Traffic Jam Assist not ACC. Since TJA wasn't offered in the US, our wheels have the trim but not the internal components/wiring. That's why Quidzel offers the HOD emulator that tells the software hands are on the wheel.

No Rex ever had a heat pump. Push the option button behind the large I drive knob. To get the menu to turn off the main screen.

Thanks for the info! I might have not made myself very clear, I meant BEV when referring to heat pumps. As far as turning off the main screen, it literally just turns off the display, but the head unit is still on.

Actually, yes! I have bought the paint to repaint the hood and a vinyl wrap to wrap it after it doesn’t match the rest of the car :)

@@cmpc724it’s not a motorcycle tire but in North America there’s only 1 choice which is Bridgestone. They are a premium tire so kind of expensive.

Absolutely, I own both and the BEV handles so much better. Steering is crisper and lighter too. Rex to Bev is like going from wearing boots to sneakers. Bev is Best !!

Actually you can turn of the head unit using option menu

I believe that only turns off the display, not the actual head unit.
