I met Richard in the late 90’s when he was on a flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles after a season of filming StarGate. He was watching my captain and I (first officer) prep our 737-200 for departure. I invited him into the flight deck and he remained on the flight deck from taxi out, take off, cruise, landing and taxi to the gate in LA. A real gentleman and a pleasure to have on the flight deck.

The first time I remember seeing RDA was in 7 brides for 7 brothers. I thought he was so handsome. I was a teenager then and I had a HUGE crush on him. I have seen some episodes of Emerald point and Legend, but I watched Macgyver over and over again. By then I was into my early 20s. MacGyver was the BEST series EVER!!!! Stargate was good, but I preferred MacGyver!! Also it would really help if you can add subtitles to this video!!!

All your videos are great and all are my favourites, but, but there are two that got me thinking about Life: One when the poachers cut the horn of a Rhino, it was so sad to see that scene with the Rhino on the ground, still alive, but I don't know what happened. Then, when MacGyver chases a guy into a tall building, the bad guy pushed MacGyver from the top of the building and fell on top of a car, and he goes to the afterlife and gets into a boat and sees his Mom and Father. They tell him that he shouldn't be there.... so he comes back to life and the rest is very amazing because he is alive and well. I love 💘 you Richard Dean 💙 Anderson!!!! Two things that wasn't added on the list is that he wears glasses when he read scrips, plus he was rejected from the army in the 70's when he had to sign up cause of the Vietnam war. But he was rejected cause he color blind.

As for wearing glasses he said when he show up to read the scrip for MacGyver, he try to read it with out his glasses which Henry winkler and other notice. then he ask if it ok if he could put his reading glasses on. they said go for it so he did and read parts of the scrip, he found out the next day he got the part as MacGyver.

When I was like 10 or so my father brought me a letter one evening. To my surprise, it read on the envelope The United States and the envelope contained Richard's photo with his signature on it. I could hardly believe my eyes I could be holding something from the other side of the pond as well as something that's been sent by MacGyver, my childhood hero. With embarassement I admit I lost it and it is my dream to write to R.D.Anderson and ask for a second chance. At that time I had a less than a basic command of English, nonetheless more luck to have received his autograph. I would appreciate Richard's address so that I could write once more... Number 10 is wrong. He was born in Dawson Creek, Canada. A few days after his birth his parents went to Minnesota. Therefore, Minnesota is incorrectly given as the place of birth. He said that once at a convention.
